OK, so I log into my account on my desktop computer and the time stamps for forum posts are exactly one hour behind my time zone.  That's cool.

I log into my account on my Chromebook and the time stamps for forum posts are 5 hours AHEAD of my time zone.

Is there a setting to fix this?  I've checked the internal clock on both my desktop and Chromebook and the internal clock on each one is set to the same.  I'm not sure how to check time zone on the BSN forums.  I would assume it's standard if I'm actually logging into my account, or does it reset based on which device you are logged into?

My desktop runs Windows 7 and my Chromebook runs the Chrome OS, in case this info is pertinent.

I apologize for the ignorance.  I looked under my profile for time zone and didn't see it?  Am I blind or is there no setting?  Thanks for any assistance :)

Check on your Windows control panel date/time app and make sure you sync with time.windows.com.  Also check that you set the correct timezone info.

On your Chromebook, try checking if you're automatically setting the date/time (aka via internet).  Also verify the timezone settings.

If you have both set and the times are still wrong, I'd say this is a legitimate forum bug.

Thank you very much for the assistance.  It has been one of "those days" haha :)  .

After a quick reupdate of Chromebook and then relogging into the forums, the issue was fixed.  Both Desktop and Chromebook now show as PST.

Thank you so very much again  (this is what happens when you swear up and down you've done something, and then find out you didn't actually).  I'll just be over here now with a red face...

Glad to have helped!  No need for the red face. ;)
