How many of you recruit dog? Except for the human noble (of course), do you always recruit Dog when playing other origins?
Thank you

Yes as long as you complete the The Mabari Hound quest given by the Kennel Master, the dog will show up after the battle.

I've never played a game without him.
Yes, I meant get the dog (do the kennel masters quest.) this should have been a poll, but I am unsure of how to make one. Thank you ![]()

Oh you are wondering how many of us got the dog and not how to get it in other origins.
So far I've always recruited him. That said, I am planning a psychopath playthrough were I kill everyone, dog included. However, It still remains to be seen if I can actually bring myself to do that

Explains how to make polls. Unfortuantly you can only make them in the off-topic section for some reason.
Hope this helps.
I`ve always recruited him.
Always!I'd never leave barkspawn behind!
I always recruit Dog. Name Dog Copernicus in DAO, and Einstein in DA2. I'm a big Back to the Future fan, hahaha
I never not recruit Dog. The one time I didn't I was deliberately killing all my party members.
I always recruit my DA puppy, even though I'm a cat person. And since I use the Extra Dog Slot mod on the PC, I have him with me on every quest. He's usually a big help and has found quite a few interesting things.
Now, if I had the option to choose between recruiting Dog or some form of large cat (Tiger, Lion, Sabertooth, etc.), I'd pick the kitty every time. ![]()

Outside of the default dog acquisition playing the HNO, I always get the dog. Besides, the dialogue after leaving Flemeth's Hut & beating the darkspawn on the road to Lothering where we encounter the dog with Alistair and Morrigan, is really funny. Morrigan in her usual scorn for Alistair makes a remark after Alistair pleads for the dog and the GW says he has to take of it, Morrigan says, "How odd, we now have a dog and Alistair is still the dumbest one in the party".
Always... Can't imagine a game without him, especially in WHHow many of you recruit dog? Except for the human noble (of course), do you always get Dog when playing other origins?
Thank you
Always recruit him...don't use him in battles tho.
I always play with Dog (Pisser).
I always recruit Muffin. The one time I accidentally killed him (had a tricky mouse and it jerked and clicked on the wrong option) was so traumatic I had to actually leave my PC for a bit till I calmed down.
And I'm not even a 'dog person' but ...ugh that was horrible. ![]()

I don't much either, but lately, I'm realizing how useful he is. That move where he tackles and chomps someone on the ground is great. Even on the recieving end, when I get overwhelmed by wolves or werewolves, that's one of few things that kicks my ass.
