Paul Schroeder thinks that your Partition of
PolandOrlais idea is just going to start a bunch of wars over the spoils.
I was actually more thinking the partition of Germany when I wrote that.

Gaspard. A true warrior and soldier at heart. A man that I could repsect.

I don't particularly care who rules Orlais.
If the choice to pick a leader comes up, I can tell you that I will make it based solely on which of the candidates proves the most useful to me in closing the breach. Who'll make a better ruler won't enter into that decision.
I may not care if Orlais rots, but I don't plan on letting it burn.
Hmm... Celene.
The elves seem like a decidedly problematic choice, as mentioned a few times here. Gaspard wants to retake Ferelden; on top of that, an honorable man might make a good leader, but generally not quite as adept a ruler. Besides, I have a fondness for The Grand Game.
Well, I know that!
But Celene apparently cares more about the elves and wants peace with Ferelden, right? And I really couldn't give two shits about Gaspard's code of honor. So I guess Celene it is for me, then.
Ok then, excuse me for answering your question...
At the end of the day, I'm happy to just let them all kill each other. Some things are more important than petty politics and I have no desire to get caught up in it personally.
I mean, isn't there a huge breach raining armies of demons from the sky? If they honestly try to get me caught up in this I'd like the option to slap the lot of them and walk away. And never forget, that for me...Ferelden always comes first.
Briala and isn't trying to rule Orlais. She's trying to free the city elves from Orlesian Rule. The elves' plan is different from the other two. Although it is the most destructive, so I'm not really behind her.
She isn't even trying to do that, though. TME doesn't have her become an advocate for elven independence. Briala's plan is to perpetuate and drag out the civil war between Celene and Gaspard. The elves plan is to just cause violence: at the point of TME, there is no secessionist movement in play.
I think a case could be made that none of the Orlesian Three are quite what their supporters would like them to be. There's a bit of overstatement by the fans to all of them, exagerating what is there into something that isn't.
Gaspard, as someone mentioned prior, isn't out to abolish the Game. He never makes the claim, and he plays it well himself. But the kernel of truth behind it is that he does have the ability to rise above the petty politics of it, to not let the game dictate his actions. It's easy to question what his honor is worth, but it does allow him to rise above the Game's perverse rules, and it's easy to see how his ascent would support and encourage the rise of other, like-minded honor-based people. It's an exageration to say he intends to end it, but it isn't one to say his rule could see it diminish.
Celene is is touted as the model reformer. Racial, cultural, education renaissance over that backwords and short-sighted resistance. All good... except where TME frequently breaks down that she'll limit and roll back reforms as expedient, how she'll lie and promise things she has no chance or intent to deliver, and that all her reforms do not even come close to addressing arguably the most significant flaw of Orlesian society: the Game itself. Celene is an avowed practicer and player, and unlike Gaspard doesn't even have the cards of honor (or even love) she would use to rise above it.
Briala the revolutionary, though? Well intentioned, but there's a regular lack of planning and actual goal the further she gets to breaking free from Celene's tempered reforms. There's a good deal of self-projection of herself and her expectations onto the people and things around her: she's certainly identified far more with the city elves than any of them have identified with her. She passes on using her new tool and influence to indebt the victor to her and maintain leverage over them, while seeking to antagonize both sides of the civil war without making an indication that she intends the elves who consider themselves Orlesian to, well, not be Orlesian when it's over. Instead they'll be elves living an Orlais where the victor will have reason to begrudge them, and her, for perpetuating the conflict: not exactly a proven strategy for getting social reforms for an already disliked minority.
I'm going with whatever advances Morrigan's agenda: maybe installing her ogb on the throne...eventually...with her as queen regent.
Morrigan would be a horrible queen.
I would love the option to have the pc rule instead of those two but problem is it would likly be humans only that can hand the throne
Most PCs would be horrible Queens as well.
Even the ones that are female.
I support Celene's reforms but they are just hers. As soon as she dies whoever is in next on the throne can simply abolish all the progress she's made, unless she puts her own protégée on the throne like the Lady Mantillion did with her Based upon what I've read she doesn't seem to have any immediate relations, other than Gaspard, who is a distant cousin. That or you know, have a child, if she is even capable of having one. An royal child is sure-fire way of securing your dynasty, but you need to be careful not to put all your eggs in the one basket. Not to mention, while se is still beautiful, she's nearly forty. The biological clock is ticking, unless she has found a magical way to increase her fertility. Don't forget Morrigan is at court, and she knows many esoteric forms of magic, maybe she knows how the Empress can have a baby. Remember this is the woman who successful conceived and gave birth to a baby with the soul of an Old God. I reckon she might know a thing or to about pregnancy. Just my opinion.
Morrigan would be a horrible queen.
Gaspar is the best option. He is strong and clever, he wants to stop the Game.

Kill'em all and let the Maker sort them out. Long live Ferelden.
No one i want throw it to chaos and then they can kill each other in that corruption.
Celene is the best bet Orlais has. Gaspard would destroy the nation and not to mention Gaspard would probably be a tyrant.
Cellene is corrupted as hell gaspard at least would bring there order that wouldn't be super nice order but at least some order instead pure corruption.

She is corrupt but she cares for the elves and for the pursuit of knowledge. All Gaspard wants is power and to invade Feraldan. You will never have a completely clean ruler in Orlais.
Clean or not celene can care for elves (yeah right i saw how she cares) with such corruption you can only dream about making orlais better not mention that celene only drives that corruption gaspard may don't care about others but at least when he will die he will leave order when celene will leave total corruption with few new laws that nobody will care because of corruption.

It doesn't really matter who is more corrupt, honorable ect. These things don't always show who will and wont be a good ruler.
Gaspard has "honor" but he wants to go to war, being honorable doesn't make him a good person or ruler (and it's already been pointed out that he doesn't want to end the game like some are saying). Celene arguably has better intentions but she is a liar and manipulative as hell so do we truly know what she will and wont achieve?
The elves have a better chance with Celene on the throne (yes, I know what happened with Briala's parents). Gaspard may give order but there can be no change without chaos, not to mention that she already has proven to be a leader who doesn't want unnecessary war. Gaspard would give order but he is aggressive, he would try to solve a simply argument with war. There must be a reason Emperor Florian chose Celene over Gaspard.
there won't be change with such corruption as celene will cause she will die and change nothing in orlais well perhaps she will change few laws but it won't in reality change nothing as no one cares about law in orlais it is like with no blood magic in tevinter as long you won't crush corruption and celene is not only too weak to crush it but also promotes it. Gaspard is guy who can crush corruption and probably will however that doesn't mean better life for elves or pesants or for anyone else but after gaspard death person in charge will have greater chance to change things as corruption will be cleaned and peoples in orlais will have much more respect for laws.Under Celene rule laws won't matter due corruption she promotes.
Chaos is good to destroy current order/system if it is bad celene promotes current corrupted system and only talk about her changes.Reason why i don't want support any of them that i would want destroy orlais or at least crush current system in may way and replace it with better.
