Just lookin' to get some games with other Bronze/Silver playas (players). Hopefully y'all come outta hidin'/that BBQ (shout-outs to the Soldiers!) enduced coma, and grace me wit' yo' presence. Nah, I ain't lookin' to spam your inboxes with FRs, just get some games in with y'all. Leave yo' GTs, I'll ask if you're willin'/able to play, then we can kill some s__t (a.k.a. the good part)!

I ran into a TGI/Harrier, N7 20k in a Silver game a few days ago (joined wave 5 to get one more Batsol extraction for Resurgence Mastery). It was pathetic.

Could be he was just had a rough few games.  I do stuff like that on bronze with full consumables every now and when some bad games put me in a bad mood.  It always cheers me up.

 

Or maybe he was just doing the same thing as you.

You can do those in gold too...

I would never take a Harrier/TGI into a public Silver match.. I wouldn't even solo Silver with something so OP. I might take a TGI/Vindicator for a Silver solo or something like that.. and the TGI/Avenger is totally fine on Gold.

Not everyone has the desire and aptitude to play gold or platinum. Are you saying silver players shouldn't promote, acquire challenge points or use kits the BSN deems OP?

 

Silver and bronze players should feel as welcome in the game and on the forum as anyone else. Don't stigmatize them.

i suspect that you're simply trolling for people to admit that they play silver or bronze so they can be ridiculed by the elitists who were soloing platinum while still in the womb.

 

If not, you're posting in the wrong part of the forum. There's a whole find-people-to-play-with section just up there ^^^^.

I mostly play Silver (PC). I just can't stand Gold/Platinum.

 

I like a balance between difficulty and fun, thanks.

Yeah but when you or I get 3x the score of everyone else on Gold it doesn't mean we should have to move up to Plat. I usually find Gold more fun so I'll stay there. He might find Silver more fun so he can stay there too. If it makes the game unfun for the other three people... [X]

Some data points. First, the other day I mentioned that I considered myself as not yet being good enough to solo bronze. The response was "That problem. It sounds personal." Second, there is an entire thread that has run on here the past couple of days in which someone was repeatedly ridiculed for failing to complete a silver solo.

 

It seems normal on Xbox, for example, that people start with bronze and progress. I'm seeing the same people in the gold lobbies that I've started joining as were in the bronze lobbies when I started playing. But mentioning lower skill levels on BSN is asking for ridicule.

 

I could tell from watching him play that he wasn't a silver player.. he was wrecking shop.. had triple the score of the other two players.

 

They may have been feeling off their game, trying out a new kit, or just trying to cheer themselves up after a platinum faceplant experience.

 

I ain't seen no rule that one has to play only at the highest level of which one is capable.

He had a Harrier X and a Punisher II.. I think he was an old timer getting back into the game after a hiatus.

I don't get 3x the score of the entire team on Gold bc I don't use OP setups (if I use OP kit, I use a weak weapon.. OP guns on weaker kits), with the exception of the Venom Drellguard once in awhile.

Lol I was consistently getting 2.5x the score of everyone else when I used that Volus Adept build everyone told me not to use. The exception was some games I played with xBuho, who did a very good job with a Mantis Vanilla Adept build. I'm sure not going to use that on Plat but it was great going from mook to mook.
