i suspect that you're simply trolling for people to admit that they play silver or bronze so they can be ridiculed by the elitists who were soloing platinum while still in the womb.
 
If not, you're posting in the wrong part of the forum. There's a whole find-people-to-play-with section just up there ^^^^.

I don't even like the term, much less ever been a bridge-dweller. I'm even gonna promote my characters and play it legit. As for the section bit, too late! Thanks for the heads-up, though.

I could tell from watching him play that he wasn't a silver player.. he was wrecking shop.. had triple the score of the other two players.

I'd agree that someone who kills everything and makes the game less fun for his teammates only to satisfy his own ego is not a great team player, but we don't know what this player's habits or motives are. As others said, maybe he usually plays gold but needed an ego boost for one match or needed one more quick extraction before quitting for the night. Maybe he thinks he's helping his teammates to easy credits without realizing he's stealing their opportunity to shine. Maybe he's a good player who doesn't have the confidence to move up to gold without friends.

 

I do feel that players of bronze and silver are treated with less respect on this forum. No one can mention silver without at least one "lolsilver" reply. I think that makes them less likely to come forward and participate in discussions. When people ask for builds, very few people come out and say "this is what I use on silver," probably for fear of being laughed out of the thread. Well, not everyone can run a no fitness claymore wielding volus vanguard and topscore every time. There should be room for all of us.

Lol I was consistently getting 2.5x the score of everyone else when I used that Volus Adept build everyone told me not to use. The exception was some games I played with xBuho, who did a very good job with a Mantis Vanilla Adept build. I'm sure not going to use that on Plat but it was great going from mook to mook.

Pretty much any *seriously* despective comment against non-skilled people in a videogame is pretty pathetic. Moreso in a game that is 2 years old and not the most played by far. And even moreso if that game is cooperative.

I agree, lolsilver is one of the general responses by people on this site, in the same vein as: hax, working as intended, biower pls, etc etc. I vaguely remember when that started, but I don't recall who did it or the context of the thread.

 

That said there are some elitists on here who look down on people for playing lower level difficulties. They are not worth anyone's time.

I agree with all these comments.

 

I play Silver, Gold (mostly) and some Plat, and enjoy mixing with players of all abilities.

It allows me to play all kinds of builds and weapon combinations and adds some variety.

 

Any player who does well in Silver is a good player in my book.

Silver is also a nice difficulty for not wearing any stuff apart from the gear upgrade. I mean, I'm not the best player out there by far, and I still manage to extract every time...

I love silver. It's not to be scoffed at. Where else can I use up my explosive rounds and play as characters that I stink at?

 

I'll play anything - Platinum pugging only when I feel masochistic though - but silver and gold are my main stomping grounds.

 I like to play silver and bronze sometimes too.

 

I like to play whatever level I feel like at the time, on whatever platform I feel like playing on. There are loads of great people to play with everywhere, I have found.

 

Sometimes I even feel like playing a game that isn't ME3(*).

 

BSN is not a reliable guide to the population of ME3 players, and is largely dominated by a few posters who believe that only people like themselves should be enjoying the game. In other words, it's like every other forum in the world.

Most of the bronze players are always in my GOLD games. I don't know if they choose gold or if the game just throws them in wherever there's an open space.

 

But if you're a bronze player you can jump in my gold games & I'll carry you. As long as I'm playing as the Batguard or Geth Trooper.

They probably select the "Any difficulty" option when searching for matches. A feature I had forgotten about 'till recently.
