Does anyone know what characters will become the $330 statues?

You know, Kotobukiya was supposed to do two more ME girls after FemShep but it never came to fruition. I'm kind of on the fence as to whether this line will actually continue or not based on that.

I guess that Kotobukiya won't continue the ME Bishojo line, but instead the Star Wars line. With the new movies ahead there will be some female characters and the series provides many more. Maybe when the new Mass Effect finally is really announced and can provide an unique and iconic female character.
Hm, I often wondered what Marian Hawke would look like in Bishojo design. Or Isabella - she's more ample and... well, there are many many many ample girls in the Bishojo line for Tekken and Street Fighter and Marvel... y'know.
Yes, Miranda would also provide a good body image for these statues. ![]()

I'd love to see a Faith statue(Mirror's Edge) someday and a Varric (DA2) statue as well in general. The Dragon Age series has been hopelessly left behind in the merchandising side though so they've got some ground to make up if they try for it. And, of course, some attention on Mirror's Edge is just a little dream if mine.
Anyone looking at the Sailor Moon statues coming out? Sailor Moon is out, Mercury and now Venus are on the way...... So far, Mercury is my favorite, but she was always my favorite lol.

Hm, details... well, some Kotobukiya statues have awesome details. Especially the ruffles on dresses (Shining Heart's Maxima, Neris, Bahamut's Olivia), ice or water effects. I could see myself examining and interpreting all of Jack's tats if I had a statue. I simply cannot get enough of it - the body paint really is a piece of art. But please, the Mass Effect 2 version of Jack. ME3's outfit covered too much of that awesome job.
Varric - so you can stroke his beard? ![]()
Venus looks the best so far in my opinion. Plus Mercury's hair. Oh my God, if only Alter would do them instead of Bandai. Alter is amazing with details. The faces look better. For most other statues the face often looks odd (like Sailor Moon's does) like it doesn't belong to the body and was created absolutely extra.

Not sure if we ever discussed in depth the seven(7) 5" Vault-Boy bobbleheads - I remember them coming up on the old forum, and I said something about buying them impulsively, but not sure where it went from there...
...but anyways, figured I'd share them here - seemed appropriate. They're...not the best. The quality seems a bit questionable, and they look really thin - which is just kinda odd/creepy more than anything else. Still, kinda glad I have them, but not sure if they were worth the price...even with the discount when getting all of them at once ($15x7 - $21 + $6.5 = $90.50).

(Included the Alliance SR-2 for scale) Anyone else take the plunge? - either/or, thoughts?

@Star ~ Oh no, stroke the chest hair.
@Dman ~ You do know that bobblehead bodies are supposed to be thinner than the head...right?

WHOA! When did Bioware/EA start up these targeted emails from the store? I'm used to this from BBTS (actually like them from BBTS), but it would seem there is a ME3 Liara statue up for preorder now. I got the email... I'm not sure how to feel about the targeted email. If I get too many of these, it could start junking up my inbox. Anyone else see it? Thoughts anyone?
EDIT:

That's the BiowareStore page for the statue. Whoa! $330 bucks! Limited to 1000 peices, individually hand numbered base and a certificate of authenticity...I don't particularly like the pose personally, so this one's off for me but wow....I've paid that much for some nice Zelda statues before but it's rare that I'm willing to shell out that much for any game these days. I genuinely like the Garrus statue (same deal) looks, but to me something just seems off with this Liara one.

So, here comes the dead thread resurrection! And to think this used to be a pretty well focused on topic for most of us! ![]()
So, this past week I saw an article saying that Atelier Shallie (the last in the line of the Dusk Alchemist series! I love this series!) was actually going to get a limited edition boxset! Thankfully, I noted in the article that it would only be sold in NIS's online store (store.nisamerica.com) so off I went. After preordering, I figured I'd look through their merchandise and saw what I expected.... t-shirts, some key chains, wall scrolls....then I saw the giclees! Oh so pretty, guaranteed to last 100 years, generally limited to run sizes of 100, individually numbered by hand, and $300.... I suppose I shall just stare at them from afar for now. ~sighs~
Anyone else finding art is new places?

The last (and largest, and most expensive) statue I bought was Elizabeth Noir, though I hasten to add it was the unsigned one, I'm neither rich enough nor do I have the inclination to part with $250 just for Ken Levine's signature! It is pretty nice quality, though.
