Miranda is 35, Yvonne Strahovski is 27 - does Miranda really look older? Or does BioWare think Yvonne looks older than she actually is? Not very nice BioWare!

Mass Effect: Ascension explains this well. Due to advances in medicine, many people look younger than they actually are. Kahlee Sanders looks a decade or two younger than she actually is.
