Essentially what the title says.

Now, I love going through the debates and going through theories, as I've done for the past few years (not the past few weeks, with my graduation from college, real life trying to swindle me out of my expectations of what happens after college and so forth,) but is it now possible to go discuss various characters or theories without getting some form of spoiler now that we're getting closer and closer to the release date (and it CANNOT come soon enough!)

Depends on what kind of spoilers you mean, really.

As the runner of the Scribbles thread, I can say it is still spoiler free. All we have are assumptions and hypotheses.  :D

But overall, every day it'll get harder.

Ah.

I'm essentially now at the point I was at with ME3 right before its release, where I'm super excited for its release and desperately trying to avoid anything that may spoil my very first playthrough. I want a full experience getting to know the characters without any preconceptions to color my perspective of them, well, not too many preconceptions.

I'm also desperately trying to avoid story spoilers. I want the inevitable plot twists, character developments, and so on to feel completely fresh, so whatever impact I get may very well be unique to me after a fashion, and then I can debate with people here on the forums that I'll inevitably disagree with about previous hypotheses, go through the "I-told-you-so's" about various factions, whether I'm right or whether I'm wrong.

Overall, I'm just excited and I'm trying to avoid have the first playthrough spoiled, say like what happened with ME3 with the leaked script and the fan outrage before the game released.

SPOILER ALERT: The elves will officially adopt the motto "Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time."

If you really want a fresh experience then this is probably the best time to leave. Whatever they're revealing at E3 is almost certainly going to contain spoilers and it's only going to get worse and worse. There'll be plenty of opportunities to discuss the game after it comes out - look at the ME3 forums, they are still having in-depth discussions and it's been over 2 years since the game released.

There were people discussing whether your should save the Council or not the last time I was over there.

The Council! We already know it's irrelevant.

The only spoilers I can think of are if you haven't read the Masked Empire and don't want to know  what happened if you haven't read the book. So far we don't have much info. We've just seen the companions (and don't even know all their names officially), know a couple of romances, and have seen pictures of areas. I think at E3 you might get things that people that really want to play DAI without knowing stuff might consider spoilers. Staying away from the story section or just being really careful after E3 might be the safest way to avoid spoilers.

Personally I don't consider anything that the devs decide to share with the fans before the game releases as spoilers.
