there is a letter quest in my estate,but i can't accept it

 

here is the list quest that i can't accept
a message from lothering
a not addressed to gamlen
a strage letter from lothering
a strang official cooking letter
 a message from pryce
from elren
feeling inadeguate
a note from feynriel
from macha
forbidden knowledge
inside job

i can't click on read/ accept button
i can read or accept other quest than that listed quest
is this glitch or bug,i played in pc version

should i destroy or take the evil tome from forbidden knowledge quest

I'm not sure why you can't accept letters, but I'm on a console so I don't know how to rectify PC issues.

 

As for the evil tomes, it doesn't really have much of an effect on anything if you take the tome's deal, so it's really just a matter of whether or not you RP your Hawke as not really caring about delving into "forbidden" lore.

Do you have any mods installed?  This looks like a case of seeing items before you've played far enough for them to be present (normally).

 

As far as I remember, except for "Inside Job", and "Forbidden Knowledge" they have no game impact, they're just for lulz.  "Inside Job" requires speaking with Hubert in the High Town Market to trigger, and "Forbidden Knowledge" is  the one with the "Evil Tomes".

 

Here's what DA Wiki says:

 

Read Hubert's letter from the Writing Desk and accept his request, then speak to him in Hightown.

The letter will only become available after completing the "Prime Suspect" quest.

 

If Idunna was spared during "Enemies Among Us", she sends a letter to Hawke at the beginning of Act 2.

If she is dead, the quest is received upon finding any Evil Tome.

 

And regarding the Evil Tomes...

If you DON'T take the deal and instead destroy the first Tome you find, then after you've found all the others a fifth one spawns. If you do anything else, the last one won't appear.  (And of course the Friendship/Rivalry impacts depend upon who's with you each time.)

Finding and taking/reading/destroying that last Tome spawns an Elite enemy who drops a nice Staff and some other stuff.

So if that makes a difference to you, you can decide what to do.
