Yep! Half way through paying off the Inquisitor's Edition at my local game store. (It's a whopping $209 AUS, but I really want those Tarot cards ...)

Not yet. I´ll wait for the release date to come closer, so I´ll know for certain if there are differences between versions depending on where you purchase it.

But I´ll most likely get the origin-store pc version deluxe edition.

I did not and will not . I'm waiting for reviews, the ones I trust that is. Only then, if positive feedback, will I buy DA:I.

Yeah, you´re being prudent, HT. But I´ll give Bioware a chance. I don´t consider DA2 to be such a disaster as so many people would say, but I do think TOR sucks and that the me3 ending was a big fiasco. But I´m willing to trust the DA team to have listened to people´s complains. So far, I like what I see about inquisition. Well, except for the graphics. While not being ugly, they´re not spectacular. Well, that what we get from cross-generation releases. But sooner or later the modders will come save the day for the pc players.

I can find no special editions for PC/Windows on the pages of any EU retailers. I hope this is a temporary state of things.

I have pre-ordered the game (the Inquisitor's edition).  I will admit that it is very expensive (compared to other collector editions of other games), but I don't have to pay for it until October, so I am putting money aside for it.

I did um and ahh a bit, because of the cost, but I think that tarot cards swayed me!  The only downside is that I had to order from Gamestop  :(

No... I haven't pre-ordered the game. I will order it as soon as the Inquisitors Edition for PC is available here in germany. If this edition should not be available, I think I won't pre-order at all.

Considering that a single play will take me between 30 and 60 hours, and that I´ll probably play it multiple times, i think the price being asked is fair.

The prices for most of the DLCs, however, is indeed high. 60, 70, even 80 bucks (USD) for games with high replay value and that consume time is a good investment. But 10 or 15 usd for an expasion that lasts 3 hours? That´s why I disliked most of the dlcs from mass effect.

I can´t wait to see the banter between Cassandra and Morrigan. Or Alistair and Varric.

No, as neither the Inquisitor's Edition nor the Deluxe Edition (in physical form) are available for PC in Germany, I have not pre-ordered yet...

Prudent does not mean negative. I'm not pre-ordering until it's reviewed. Not going to make the same mistake I made with ME3.

I only pre-order games if I see a financial benefit. The standard edition is €60 on Origin right now, which is €10 more than what it will cost in most stores. In Mediamarkt it might even go down to €42.

I haven't yet, and probably won't until early September when I finally grab a Playstation 4 and Destiny... Assuming I can close the gap between now and then on funding. Shouldn't be too hard, but what was it about unhatched chickens?

Of course, I might still not pre-order period if they show a train-wreck at E3, but considering how impressed I was (And still am) with the Digiexpo and PAX footage, I don't see that being possible.

No since I will have to settle for the normal version this time I see no reason to hurry.

Tomorrow's money will cost less than today's. So no, I'm gonna wait for October or September at least.

Yes.

PS4 Deluxe Edition copy from GameStop, paid in full. No extra for shipping since my local store is literally 10 minutes from my house, so planning on a midnight pick-up as long as enough people in town also pre-order. :)

Not yet, gonna wait until the game is out and I can read some reviews.  One of my best friends will probably have it day one and I'll wait for those impressions as well.

Here you go.

This is the first game I have preordered in EVER. I am kind of concerned regarding how DA2 relates to DA:O but what I've seen of DA:I's gameplay is already so much better than anything from DA2 that I preordered regardless (I also came to enjoy DA2 despite its flaws and I REALLY love ME3, so that's that).

I actually think preordering a game makes no sense, the "preorder" bonuses usually aren't worth it and you can pickup the game for cheaper after launch - but in this case, I REALLY want to have the game in my hands as soon as possible but I want it in a box and not digital, so I preordered. I'll just stuff the extra weapons that come with it into a chest somewhere. I'd feel somewhat tacky running around at lvl 1 with a big flaming badass sword...

I ordered the Digital  Deluxe Edition direct from Origin.  Normally I don't pre-order digital versions of games but there is no PC boxed version of the  Deluxe Edition in Ireland and Gamestop.ie has priced the other versions at over €10.00 more then the price on Origin.

It'll be weird not to have the game boxed but this way I know I'll get it day one and it's cheaper than the physical copy.
