I save all my Adrenaline IV's for the Juggernaut.

Me too.  Can make quite a difference for this char.

Also, I play the Jugg more agrgessively.  While melee is handy at times, I prefer to be on the offensive.  Ammo effect + Siege Pulse = win.  Melee when you are being overwhelmed by enemies, and hopefully teammates will take advantage.

I use the small shield and use at times where some extra shielding comes in handy (ie vs bosses or mucho mooks).  At least with this one teammates have some room to shoot where the large shield blocks too much.  Shield placement is the key.  Generally speaking when I set it I am also thinking "where best to deploy in order to A) provide some protection, and B) to still allow teammates space to shoot.

I also like my little pal the Turret.  Once again, set to agression, flamer, shock, distract and destroy.  "Say hello to my little friend"  *feel the same about Combat Drone*

But it's fun to pretend you're force choking Phantoms... for about 10 seconds.

"I find your on-host damage reduction disturbing."

"Enough of this! Juggy, release her!"

"As you wish."

Watching me play the Juggernaut must be pretty funny because I ignore the big enemies. One thing that most players have in common is they ignore the small guys & always go straight for the big ones. I'm the opposite, I learned early on that it's the small guys that kill you. Which is more of a threat? A Marauder or a Banshee? Marauders are the biggest pain in the ass. So I walk around with my Juggernaut with Banshees chasing me. I NEVER EVER walk up to a Banshee, stop & HM her like everybody else does. I walk around the whole map killing Cannibals & Marauders with the Banshees right behind me the entire time. They don't even hit me, they just follow like puppies. It's pretty funny. I totally ignore them until there's nothing else left.

If the team is down & I have to carry them the last thing I want to do is stop moving & HM a Banshee. I will get torn apart by the Cannibals, Marauders & Ravagers. There's no way in hell HM will keep my shields up With multiple Marauders & Ravagers shooting me. But unfortunately I see everybody else HM the Banshee & get slaughtered in 2 seconds. It's not like HM is part of their strategy that they use sometimes. It's the ONLY way they can play. Even if the rest of the team is down & their ass is on the line they don't change their strategy. HM is the ONLY thing they'll do no matter what. And that's every single Juggernaut I've ever seen. Simply retarded!

And when I see a Juggernaut try to do that to a Preatorian all I can do is laugh at the dumb SOB.

Maybe a bit off topic, but some games are full of surprises: I recently saw a Juggernaut using a Batarian Gauntlet in a PUG. No idea what to say about that one.

...that the player has a sense of humor?

Batarian Gauntlet doesn't work with Hardened Platform 5A (speed boost on HM kill), does it?

Just had a juggy do this today actually. I sent him a message trying to explain a more offensive juggy and he said he would try it, so we'll see how that goes. I may have just gotten rid of a melee juggernaut! I'm so proud of myself.

He did only used melee or what? If he only melee'd, I agree it slows down the team.

Wasn't sure whether it was added to the base HM or how it'd be triggered.  Interesting.  I might have to experiment with this.

Yeah, I do the same. Multiple Marauders are definitely the biggest threat to the Juggy. And, yeah, it's pretty funny when you get a Banshee following you around yelling at you and slapping you on the arm. "B*tch, please. I work hard for my money. If I wanna go to the pub after work and relax with my mates..."

I recall rocketing hex shields in a match, lol. "Oh noes?! There's an evil HEX SHIELD right in front of us?!! Don't worry guys, I got this one." *pulls out rocket launcher*  "Oh noes?!!! There's another one?!!! Don't worry guys." And so on. Guy actually got the message too. But yeah, them hex shields can led to me Raging in a big way. Lately whenever I see it I just go as far away for the Jug as possible. Let him get surrounded/overwhelmed, die, and problem solved for that whole entire wave leaving me free reign wherever I want to go again. :D

On the heavy melee business, I'm totally blown away that folks aren't totally bored of doing only just that after even just one match, lololol. Folks playing ME3mp must have a high tolerance to boredom? Same goes to rocket glitching, to which I stuck around for just a bit once, only reason I left was total boredom, I kid you not. So yeah, how the heck can folks stand such mindless behaviours is the real question? Because there are many other I see in this game applying too..

I can work with a Juggy doing heavy melee all day long.   Its easy, just follow these steps:

1.  Hang out in vicinity of Juggy, but somewhat protected so that juggernuts is in the open-ish.  Given the juggernuts lack of speed and mobility, as well as inability to use cover, this should not be hard - unless you are completely retarded.  Note: you can use the juggernuts as both bait AND as a shield.

2.  Kill everythjing before it gets to Juggernuts.  Do not show pity, nor remorse.  Kill everything with extreme prejudice.

3.  Juggy will either play right, or get swarmed and swamped.  If you leave, he will get stomped.  You get a synergy going.  Juggernuts gets to play with the brutes, banshees phantoms and all of that and you get to kill whatever you want to - maybe even everything.

4.  Protect Juggy from hurtful units, like ranged Atlas, Scions, Ravagers, Nemesis.  You can turn the game into a challenge that involves close units as well as ranged ones.

You can border the line on trolling, or way overshoot it.  A true troll will try to "help" the jugernuts, by forcing it to use ranged attacks.

I don't spec into hex shield.  ^_^ The only enemies I HM are the sync-killers, so when everyone else is backing up, I go forward to choke a ******. Unfortunately, most newish players then concentrate only on the sync-killer which is when their dumb asses get killed by marauders, ravagers, etc. I can't do everything, guys. I'm a big guddam robot hero, but ya know..

Another thread complaining about how pugs play a certain kit..sigh. OP what gives you the right to tell a player how they should or shouldnt play a kit.

A melee juggy allows players who are not so confident in their ability to contribute to the team, and more importantly they take the aggro off the rest of the team - allowing you and the rest of the teams to kill without worry...maybe you should learn to adapt to the situation rather than complaining

How can anyone get taken down as a juggy? You would have to be a total scrub to get taken down playing that kit. (B00g13man 2013) ;)
