Most common, uncommon and certain rares are quite bad IMO.
I also dislike the presence of way too may works-well-with-any-kit weapons. Wraith, talon, harrier, arc pistol, hurricane are some of them.
I, for one would appreciate the presence of more niche weapons - suppressor, graal, kishock, scorpion, venom, saber, Valkyrie, CSR, Indra, spitfire, etc.
You really like the weapons that turn into complete garbage with just a bit of lag don't you?

Guys there is no reason to be rude and obnoxious here, these are just my opinions, and aside from a few weapons that people have mentioned that I forgot to add in my OP, I stand by what I say: There are just far too many mediocre or bad weapons and too few great ones.
Are you charging every shot on the Arc Pistol? For most characters, a fully charged Arc Pistol will one-shot most all gold trash mobs, including protected units. You don't really even need any passive weapon damage to one-shot everything except for the tough ones like Hunter or Possessed Captains.
If I had designed the game though Arc Pistol would have simply been a shield stripper with the charge correlating to the shield and barrier multiplier, and no 3 projectile at max charge.
Yeah I charge the shots. It is indeed a very powerful weapon, I just prefer the bouncing shots and shield stripping ability of the Acolyte.
For instance playing as a Human Adept. One or two Acolyte shots and then I can go to town with my powers. Or using the Geth Pyro/Vorcha, One or two shots then melt everything away.
I use it a lot with the Batarian soldier too. Fire 1-3 Acolyte shots, Ballistic Blades, Incendiary grenade, and boom just killed 8 units in a matter of seconds.

I would re-balance more weapons than I would buff and reduce enemy hitpoints accordingly.
Harrier, Reegar, Hurricane, Acolyte and Arc Pistol would all have to get modified before I start having a conversation about useless guns. Then we could start talking about the GPS which once upon a time was generally agreed to be a very strong weapon. Wow that was a long time ago.

If you disagree and think that most of the weapons in this game are good, then you must be using the Mantis, or Raptor etc in Bronze.

Pistols - Arc Pistol and Talon can go on literally any kit on the game and destroy. Scorpion is my default secondary to deal with phantoms if I don't have powers or a primary gun that can do the job. Acolyte is extremely niche. It's the best shield stripping gun, but doesn't do much else with the effectiveness of the other pistols.
Shotguns - This is probably the best class of weapons, meaning there isn't the gap between best and worst. And piranha is freaking amazing, especially with it's ammo, rat e of fire, and weight.
Snipers - Widow is amazing. CSR is amazing, Kishock is amazing. Heck, even the Mantis does really good damage for it being a common gun.
SMGs - CSMG is amazing. I use it more than the Hurricane because of it's ammo and accuracy.
There are plenty of good guns that I use quite often. I never feel cornered into using only a few select weapons to do well in this game.

I appreciate all the weapons in the game. Starting out with Shuriken, Predator, Katana, Mantis & Avenger are what make you a better player. Being able to wreck shop with those weapons, as difficult as it is, allows you to do great things once you unlock their vastly superior counterparts.

Starting weapons are supposed to be weak. I really don't understand your POV in an RPG. You unlock higher grade weapons, they should be better. That doesn't mean the common and uncommon are useless. I ran an all Volus game with only predator pistols and we didn't have any issues. Also, it doesn't take much gameplay to unlock weapons better than the commons, and from there it doesn't take that long to unlock guns better than the uncommons. If you kept unlocking guns that weren't any better, what incentive would you have to keep playing?

Obnoxious? Lol. There are so many weapons you did not list which are either really good or amazing (e.g. Talon, Arc Pistol, Executioner, CSMG, BPP, Widow, CSR, Indra, PPR, Lancer, Graal, Raider, Piranha) that I genuinely thought it was a troll thread. Still not convinced it's not though.

I am not trying to brag but I say this because I have played with dozens of people with the BOTB banner, 100,000's of challenge points, completed challenges yadda yadda yadda and I have yet to be outscored by any of them let alone one so yes I can say I am pretty good ME3 player.

Yes I agree. It was just a quick post before heading out for lunch. I am speaking more to the plethora of Common and Uncommon weapons. Just because I didn't mention a certain weapon in my OP doesn't mean I think it is completely useless.
