Dean isn't going to fight Sam.

What will happen is Sam cures Dean of demonism and finishes the trial, thus dying.

All demons get locked in hell, Castiel keeps Heaven in check and Dean remains on Earth to live out his days, until he dies and joins Sam in heaven.

I feel 1 season isn't enough to deal with:

1. Michael and Lucifer, who are still stuck.

2. '' 2014 '' - '' You will always end up here ''

3. Gabriel possibly being alive.

4. Demon Dean, Angel Residue in Sam.

5. Crowley.

No way, as much as I love Kenzi... Lost Girl isn't a show that I can really take too seriously. It just feels all too... girly. Bit like many of the vampire franchises these days, silly drama and awkward moments.

Well yeah, it's campy, but that's part of the appeal. When I want serious, I don't watch urban fantasy.

I could see that being the finale, but first Sam would have to find a way to contain one of the most powerful demons on earth.

1. Michael and Lucifer are going to stay stuck, I doubt they'll be addressed.

2. I don't actually know what you're talking about.

3. They MIGHT address that hint, but they don't need multiple seasons for it.

4. Wasn't Sam rid of all Angel residue? Regardless, there's no reason Demon Dean needs more than a season of carnage to be done well.

5. I'm pretty sure Crowley's growing humanity, not to mention his son's presence, can be addressed alongside Dean's waning humanity. No reason that needs to be a separate season.

Without pointless Angel War episodes taking up space, a there's more than enough room in a season to address these issues.

Well, for me its that I can't take the threat seriously. At least in Supernatural I actually feel like I can take the threat seriously while enjoying Crowley/Dean/Castiel humor on the side. Lost Girl, less so.

^This isn't new for CW.
Clark fought Darkseid in a barn that lasted 5 seconds at the end of Smallville.

I know I was never so disappointed in my life.

Now, I thoroughly enjoyed the first five seasons of Supernatural. They weren't without flaws, but for the most part the writers did a good job developing and using their mythology. More importantly, the Winchester's relationship hadn't grown stale yet.

Based on everything I'd heard and on the ending of S5 itself (minus the last five seconds) I stopped watching there and then when I gave the show a try two years ago. I really enjoyed those 5 seasons, and while I believe that I'd still find entertainment in the following seasons I think I'll leave it at that.  :)

You know, it occurs to me that Supernatural would have benefited in the past five years by growing its cast into more of an ensemble. Think about it: imagine if we had an entire team based in the bunker. Kevin doing his prophet think and working on research. Charlie hacking and hunting on the side. Garth hunting and manning the fake agency phone lines for the Winchesters. That Amazon daughter Dean had. Castiel... being Castiel. You know, spend some character development time looking at other relationships instead on nonstop Sam and Dean with dashes of Castiel and Crowley.

Just to comment on something I noticed while rewatching the first episode of the series: Wow have Jared and Jensen gotten much more grizzled over the years. And their voices have gotten much huskier.

I know I was never so disappointed in my life.

I know its hyperbole but how could it even be a disappointment given the previous 7-8 seasons?

As for supernatural I am confident the creators have been on record that the 10th is the last and its as far as they wanted to go with it. I think there is to be a spin-off that the characters were introduced in the past season. But in all honesty I lost interest in this season (again) when it went heavy with Sam and Dean are fighting.... again.

The creator's plan ended at season 5 and I read that the network is president wants Supernatural to go on to Season 11 and beyond. However, Jared and Jensen's contracts are up after season 10, so it may all hang on their decision to resign or not.

I watched the first five seasons this past year. They were incredible, but I only watched the first couple episodes of season 6 before I fell off. I keep meaning to continue, but season 5 ended so well that there was nothing drawing me towards anything after that. I didn't realize there were 9 seasons out until a little while ago and was really surprised it was still going.

I've been surprised the show is still going for years now. I blame the fangirls.

I have liked seasons 8 and 9 slightly more than 6 and 7 though.

I have an idea. The cw executives set up a website where fans add their names. 150 fans are randomly chosen. Then they do a Supernatural quiz-off until 10 remain. Those 10 help wright season 10. We get two things outa this:

1. We make sure the DEAN-MON arc isn't wasted

2. We get an AWESOME game show/ reality show

Doesn't seem like it until you look back at the beginning though.

I feel the same.

As for above the lead wanted 5 seasons (when it comes to TV getting to 5 seasons is a milestone) but when the to acting leads still were in contract for a 6 season he went tot a producer role which in that industry can mean anything from controlling to sitting back and collecting a paycheck.

It should of ended and after season five it was a readjustment. To get 5 more seasons out of it is a accomplishment.

In truth I would like both Sam and Dean put down because they are some of the most tortured souls in television and they need their peace.

Let's see: At this point, Sam has died two or three times, spent awhile drinking demon blood, got manipulated into starting the apocalypse, been trapped in a box with two angry Archangels for a year, had his body walking around as a soulless sociopath that whole time, and an angel took him for a joyride to kill Kevin. Dean has died four times, been trapped in both Hell and Purgatory, became a torturer in Hell for a decade after 30 years of torment, had a brief stint as a vampire, Cain's Mark and Blade nearly turned him into a homocidal maniac and now he's a demon.

I may have missed a death or two in there, but yeah, these tortured souls need a rest.

Meh, I like TBBT. I just hope they won't screw up the finale as HIMYM did.
As for Supernatural, I think it should end in Season 10. I hope that demon Dean would last more than one episode.
This year on supernatural series I liked The Originals.

That would atleast probably prevent stupid lore defying moves like making Tessa an angel suddenly.

It hadn't even occurred to me that this could go the same direction as God-Castiel did. That would really destroy my hope for season 10 if they pulled another Leviathan villain out of thin air and discarded Demon-Dean.

I agree. The plot is very interesting, but considering want happened to Castiel-God And the leviathans I prefer to be cautious and wait what happens in the first episodes.

I actually kind of liked the idea of the Leviathans (Primordial devourers of immense power) but the way they handled it was aweful and just turned them into a joke.

Yeah, it's not the idea of the leviathans that i disliked, is how they executed the plot.

It seemed like their actual idea was a "what if monsters weren't complete morons, and instead thought like people but had superpowers?".

Of course, the whole problem was that when that's true, there's only one answer: humans go extinct, because they're just a non-superpowered version of the villain.
