So looks like we are goin to have more games that take place in the Mass Effect universe. This is not really news to those of us that have been really listening but it is good for them to come out and say it. I'm guessing we won't see it until the new game systems hit.

More sequels to follow after the third game, but probably their making shepard's story a trilogy, then a different story will continue after

If the whole thing about console makers wanting to move to a 10-year lifecycle for systems is accurate, then we're just about halfway through this generation. Plenty of time, yet.

I don't know how I feel about this. It speaks to me like they are planning on a Mass Effect MMO. I mean, Mass Effect appealed to me because it WAS a trilogy. Doesn't extending it past ME3 kind of make the entire "consequences for your actions" thing moot?



I dunno, hopefully they mean there will be a second Mass Effect trilogy.

I really doubt that ME3 will be released next year. Even if it's at the end of the year. I bet 2012.

Id say it will be released in 2012 or early 2013. And I ME3 will still be on the 360 so our ME2 saves can be transfered over.

The only time frame they gave was a 'similar' amount of time as between ME1 and ME2, so that's 2 years, friends, and if my math skills are correct 2010+2=2012. Oh yeah, those are quite the math skillz.
