Randomly fired up ME2 on 360 and found it sitting there, free, waiting to be redeemed.
Checked entitlements here using the posted link and I have it for PC as well.
I wonder if/hope that they plan to do something similar for the single-player N7 weapons in 3?
Did the Collectors Weapon & Armour pack just unlock for anyone else?

It sounds to me like you can only get it for xbox if you also have a copy for the PC. I have seen nothing for my xbox only copy.

Launch the game, on the title screen you should see "new content available" (or just go to the DLC screen) and you should see "Collector Weapon & Armor" listed with a price of Free. Buy it.

I noticed the same thing. I have Mass Effect 2 on Steam and Origin (Origin recognizes it because I used the code you get with Steam versions of games that you never have to use). Kind of nice, I always wanted the collector armor and assault rifle, but didn't feel like buying the Deluxe version.

That actually happned to me too. But, if you have a ME that is bought originally from somewhere else that isn't Origin, you can't register it, because Origin only allows code registring for games that have been released in the time span since 2009(or 2010). So ME won't register, because it's a 2007 game.
I got my digital copy from Amazon and Origin took it. Didn't for a long time but about a couple months ago it finally did.

I started it up, it said there is an update, I downloaded it but there is no sign of the Collector armor & rifle anywhere. I checked Downloadable Content & New Content Available & the only new thing that shows up is Genesis. I clicked the link in the link you sent & that page for ME2 DLC doesn't show the Collector stuff either. I tried un-registering my game & re-registering it but it says my UPC code is not valid so I can't re-register it. I don't know what else to do.

It didn't unlock for me. Maybe when I play ME2 again it will.

How do you register a game using this new site?
I've got to say that if PC users are now getting the CA&W and the Xbox 360 users are not. It feels like the Xbox 360 users are getting the sour end of the stick, because PS3 users get it with a DLC. Would not surprise me if Xbox 360 users aren't getting the CA&W because of Microsoft.
