If it's just the Vanilla Human kits... HSol. Otherwise my goto class in the early days was always the QFI.

 

Workhorse

Krogan Sentinel - one of the most versatile kits in the game

 

Favourite Overall

Krogan Sentinel - ummm yeah, oki, I like the melee specced Krentinel

 

 

Honourable Mentions

Kroldier - probably one of the best kits against Reapers and Collectors.

BatSol - unkillable kit that excels against Cerberus but is good against everything.

TSol - for completing just about every weapon mastery challenge going, quickly.

Starting: Asari Vanguard - First character I survived Gold with and still a favourite.

 

Work Horse: TGI - Clutcher, PUG saver, BW / Incisor / Crusader / Typhoon wielder, and the only character I do well in Plat with.

 

Overall Favourite: I don't really have one, but I always enjoy the Shadow, Fury, Kroguard, and HSol.

 

Honourable mention:  A new found fondness for the GE with Sabre and the Paladin with ..... well....anything.

Favorite character when I stared playing: QFE - haven't used her in a while, think I'll play a couple games with this class later

 

Workhorse: Quarian Male Infiltrator

 

Overall Favorite: Salarian infiltrator

 

Honorable mentions: Volus Vanguard, Batarian Slasher Adept, Asari Valkyrie Sentinel and QME

Favorite Starting Class:

Since Vanguards are my favorite class since ME2, I have to go with the Novaguard. I still play this guy the most out of all the "Vanilla" classes. I love the Adept and the Engineer, as well, but nothing beats the good ol' Novaguard.

 

Workhorse:

Given the fact that this character helped me through the Jade speedruns and the amount of grinding that took place for those credits and efforts, I'd have to go with my go-to speedrun character: the Drell Assassin Infiltrator.

 

Overall Favorite:

Now, it's getting hard. There are so many great characters, and I like to play all of them from time-to-time. Going with my gut and the fact she helped me get my first Platinum solo done, I have to go with "odd one out" in the Vanguard class, the only Vanguard without Biotic Charge nonetheless: the Turian Cabal Vanguard.

 

Honorable Mentions:

Picking a favorite overall is quite tough, since there are so many great characters available to us. As for the honorable mentions, I'd have to say the Drell Vanguard, Asari Valkyrie Sentinel, Geth Trooper Soldier and Turian Saboteur Engineer come to mind. I like all the N7 characters, too, as well as both Phoenix characters. The Awakened Collector Adept can't really be left out, as well.
