My weird questions were simply to get as many of your excellent mods into my game as i can squeeze at one time, hence normal clothing to armor slots questions. Damn Bioware for not letting us add ad many clothing slots as we want!

no silly, not from you, although you never did reply to me to tell me things were ok. lol.  I keep checkin back to see if u had written back that you figured it out or not.  I am talkin about the person who thanks other modders on my page and asks questions about other modders stuff and then asks me question i already answered to them before. lol I feel like I am typing to a wall lol owell, as long as people get they want i guess i am happy....

with this spec file, it may look and seem crazy to use it, but I made it to be able to go with any armor in the FBD folders.  Nothing on this file neeeds to change.  You just put it in as you normally would a spec file.  This spec file DOES NOT WORK IN THE CTH FOLDERS. just to be clear. 

 

For other people reading this, this file is for modders who are trying to get maximum outfits into the game, which means covering up armor in the FBD folders.  If you have outfits you want to place over the armor, what you need to do is find a color of skin and paint it on the parts of the diff file which have the skin exposed.  You can paint it on using the program GIMP or Photoshop, something like that, it needs to have a pluggin that can read DDS files.  You can get the color of your skin by GIBBED the section with the color squares for your shep, open it up and it will have the letters RGB, on the side, write down those numbers and then go into your program to paint and open up the color thing and just type those numbers in.  After that just get a paint prush and paint, doesnt have to look perfect, all the skin just needs to be painted. save the file as a DTX1 and use that one instead for FBD folders, use the norm it came with and use this spec file, then you can wear the clothes over the armor without the skin looking jacked.

oh you are very welcome i am glad that we can inspire each other your outfit you made brought me out of my modding outfit rut, so it must have been a sweet outfit to get me to want to mod anything with my wack 3DSMAX program lol  I am going to try to play my game today too, but i am on a mission to find out how to export the sims hair from these packs it comes in.  I really want this hair.  Its making me crazy.  Maybe I wont have time to play today after all haha! enjoy your day!

I am glad its not a joke lol i am sorry you missed the reply to you.  I am glad you thank people because this often times does not happen for us modders.  A thank you is like my payment, i am happy when someone thanks me for what I do and i enjoy sharing what I do and helping others too.  I seen that someone answered you about the ear piece in another thread, so hopefully you can find it

I can see if I can help you with people that have done massive hair packs I've used for other games based off of Sims hairs. maybe. That is if you like. It can't hurt to look and see what I can get to help in anyway

thank you! i have been working on a new outfit today but my program crashed over and over, i finally got an answer for the issue and i downloaded the patches and it seems to not crash anymore yay!  I would love to get some more hair! if you find hair from sims, i would be very grateful because i have a ton from this sg pack and alsp apatche something or other.  If you find something like you mentioned, if you could send me a not that would be rad! thanks a ton!

Sounds good, I hope you get the outfit done with no more issues. This may take awhile but I'll see what I can do. I do have to many hairs for Skyrim. But if they all came from sims or other games. I am sure all of them can work for Mass Effect as well.

Fantastic! Take your time! there is no rush I am currently just takin a break from that outfit to do some art and zen out before i break things. I really appreciate it no matter how long it takes, like i said i am in no rush! <hugs>

I like it. It's a really great armor. Those people remind me of those I see on other gaming sites. Everything has to fit or be somewhat close to the lore or the go beserk. Modding is to make the game your own personal experience. Sure others mod for some that can and they use the mods. But it's meant for people's own experience. People can have things close to what the game has or awesome armors that I've seen on here. I just think people should leave modders along and others and let them play their games their way. I will say though some of the armors I've seen on Skyrim  are just scraps metal. Yet, that still to work to make and should be admired. Sorry for going to Skyrim. Before Mass Effect that was the game I was heavily modding
