I use common and uncommon with average kits and gold is still too easy.
No use of rockets, medi-gels or ops-packs during the match. ![]()
Still, taking a Quarian soldier into Gold with a Revenant can still be a challenge so these threads just make me curious, i.e. : if Gold's too easy, why play it?
I wouldn't say challenging as much as I would say tedious. My lvl 0 Avenger Gold solo wasn't challenging at all (anyone can do it) but it just took so much time to complete it because I gimped myself a lot. So no, a Quarian Soldier with the Revenant is not the least challenging on Gold but it is more tedious than using the Harrier and nuking spawns.
What?! Mega avoids OP weapons and kits on Gold too? ... Well, I did just read in his "I finally did it" topic that he was using a Locust on Platinum, so maybe? .... That's so cool! ![]()
But yeah. To help solve this topic's issue, is to stop using OP weapons & kits, plus go pugging with an eye for really pitiful scrubs, and try to keep everyone playing and not in your backpack + full extraction with them too!! (lol. Hope you saved them rockets for this last one if they decide to wait it out in certain LZs and everyone has a pitiful setup
)... Oh, and you got to set it to Condor every second game. ![]()
So yes, solution is easy. Now stop complaining, you big babies. "Butt, but, can I still use Grenade capacity?" Heck no!!! ![]()
No use of rockets, medi-gels or ops-packs during the match.
I've done a bunch of Gold solos like that and many many more games with a full team. Not really challenging.

now yer killing me hun ![]()
OP plays on xbox at 30fps.
Lol.
LMAO
It's time to stop using OP kits and weapons then.
LOL i dont always use OP things
the pheaston is my favorite AR
OP i looked at the challenges that you've gone through, and now laughing at you.
The challenges were irrelevant to me from the start. The only challenge i pursued for was the Biotic God because it was the only title i wanted. Not sure what that has to do with feeling like Gold is too easy.
Sounds like you should focus on MLG.

Don't you know that N7, Challenges and the BoTB banner means everything in this game?
Without them you are clearly not good enough to complain about any difficulty being too easy!

Well I'm all out of ideas then.
I've never have had a perfect game where no consumables were used at all. That would be a challenge for me. ![]()

Well, you are certainly good enough to pull it off.
Set a weapon to negative damage and solo with it.

Oh yea i forgot. My challenge points and n7 are just way too low im such a scrub
onward to the platinum solo!

And yet if you're relatively new, and there are a lot of new players, with a lvl 6 Phaeston, or lvl 2 Evicerator, I suspect that Gold isn't "tedious". It's most likely very difficult. I suspect someone who hasn't been playing for long has a much different perspective about difficulty than someone with a full, or almost full, manifest.

Not really. I started on a new manifest recently and I still didn't find it difficult even with a starting manifest.
Well, you are certainly good enough to pull it off.
I'm not entirely sure that is true (haha) but thanks. Maybe I will give it a try sometime. ![]()
There is enough variety in characters/weapons/builds/equipment that the game is as easy or hard as you make it.
I support the OP. It's entirely rational to insist on rebalancing a game based on the experience of the top 0.01% of players.
Failing that, I'd be in favour of starting a fund to subsidize impoverished ME3 players to buy new games when they are bored of ME3.
Hell, I'd kick in almost any amount up to a very generous - and proportional - 0.01 cents.
But seriously though, we complain about Gold being too easy now, but can anyone remember how it used to be like? No Dragoons (Stasis FTW!), no Atlas DoT, no Bombers, no Combat Drone stagger, less health and shields on most enemies, Pyros that you could grab, no extra shots from Atlases and Phantoms, longer time until getting executed, Cannibals couldn't execute players, less chance of instakills etc. etc.
I remember how it was.
No Reegar, Harrier, Typhoon, Acolyte, Piranha, Raider, Venom, Hurricane or CSMG (among others). No GI, QMI, Fury, Destroyer, TGI, AIU, Puggernaut, Slayer, Ghost, Batsol, Huntress, Valkyrie, Vorchas, GT, Warlord etc. No grenade capacity gear or armoured compartments. Turian & Drell passives hadn't been buffed. Black Widow hadn't received its 44% damage boost - in fact, most weapons did less damage than they do now. And no tech explosions on demand.
The game has gotten easier, not harder.
EDIT: Forgot to mention level IV ammo, level IV cyclonics mod or gear in general. And I'm pretty sure there are other things that I forgot.

Carry me, please.
Not very experienced player. Have many issues.
I told you in your last thread to solo more.
I'm gonna echo that advice. I have fun doing it when I don't feel like pugging, maybe you should check out some of the challenge threads and do some of the solos there. You'll be playing kits & weapons you've never played with before and soloing is clearly harder than full team gold games.

Tss, todays GI would be no match for the original Vanilla Human Infiltrator if you go that far back. Remember how much damage you actually did with TC before they nerfed it?
Also, the Avenger is deadly on full auto.
