Propably it's not a question for this section or even for this forum, but I must ask.

Dear BioWare!
I live in Poland and Dragon Age Inqusition is of course coming out this year. PC version will be in english with polish subtitles. Unfortunatelly it turns out that version for PS4 (which I would buy) will be in english and only in english (no polish subtitles). I just can't understand why. I'd like to know if there is any chance of polish subtitles (at least) for PS4.

I really hope they accommodate your request. Subtitles shouldn't be that hard to implement.

I have exactly the same problem. I play now on Xbox 360 but my plan was to buy PS 4 when Dragon Age Inquisition comes out. Now I'm not sure what to do. It is hardly understandable that in Poland there won't be polish subtitles on next generation consoles but Xbox 360 and PS 3 versions will be translated. PS 4 already had its premiere in Poland so I wonder if it's as much problem to add the same subtitles to every version of the game.

 

My english is moderate at best and without translated subtitles I would lost a lot of dialogues details. Sure, I can buy Xbox 360 version of the game but I want to experience everything that DA:I represents including all next-gen graphic visuals. Bioware games are my favorite and I would not like to be stuck with new Dragon Age on slowly passing away old generation console.

 

Unfortunatelly I can't preorder the game for now. I hope that the situation will change and it will be possible to buy PS 4 version of DA:I with polish subtitles.

That's kinda strange. You can convert an entire PC game to the PS3 in a a matter of months. Is there some other reason for not having subtitles?

 

I'd understand if there was no PC version either, but since there is , it just seems like an oversight.

you would think they would be able to comment on this. It's not something major, in fact not including them on the latest Gen wouldnt be a good move.

So I see, that all of you guys are with me The worst thing about it is that PS3 and X360 have subtitles. So it's not like it can not be done. I could handle full english version but I couldn't "feel" the game as good as I could if it would be in my mother's tongue Well, we know that Jessica Merizan read it so we could say, that BioWare read it haha. Maybe it's not lost yet, maybe there is still hope!

Hi Jessica!

Could you remind to the team about this feedback? I'm a PS4 owner and I wonder why there will be polish subtitles in Dragon Age Inquisition on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, but on PS4 and XboxOne not? Console PS4 has it's official premiere in Poland 29th November 2013, XboxOne will have it's premiere soon - 5th September 2014.
