Go explore that dark corner... there *probably* isn't one of these demons hiding. #DAI

EDIT: Nightmare Demon is now Terror Demon.
Nightmare demon. That thing looks brittle. XP
They both kinda remind me of the Banshee from ME3...so I'd like to face them both ![]()
Is there a choice for wanting both? ![]()
I'll take the fear demon. A nightmare in a land of dreams? Top of the food chain, that one.
Um... Fear! Fear (sometimes) = an adrenaline rush = a means of kicking butt!
Nightmare = lack of sleep (assuming that would be a means of attack) = not alert enough to lift a toothpick, nevermind a weapon.

My Inquisitor will fear no demon, for will he punish them and send them back to the other side of the veil.
B.
Way less bulky and sturdy looking.
Hell you can probably kill it with a blunt blow in the mid section.
I wouldn't underestimate the Nightmare...it looks like it has both reach and flexibility.
But either way, Fear.
What's the difference? Depending... My nightmares are actually pretty cool, so maybe we can have fun together.
I'd fight the fear demon just because it looks cool. ![]()
Speed demon.
lol I remember this. I use to love Buffy.Of course... scale is important.
What if screen size is acutal size...?
I know the two demons look different, but is there really a difference? Nightmares are nightmare because they use your fears against you.
Ok, now there's a nightmare demon? How is that an emotion or ideal?

I was thinking this exact thing. Previously, demons and spirits were pretty clearly meant to represent human traits and/or ideals: Pride, Justice, Vigilance, Sloth, Hope, Vengeance.
I don't get how "Nightmare" fits into that spectrum at all.
I dunno, the nightmare demon does look kind of cute, in a creepy way. So he wins.
Incidentally, if I ever met a sloth demon, I'd be done for sure.

If I had to guess, a nightmare is like a menos from Bleach. Rather than being one demon, it is many demons fused together - the amalgamation of a dozen negative emotions.
I'm assuming these new types of demon are appearing because of the Tear. Maybe they are the guardians of the Fade twisted? So they were once Dreams and twisted to Nightmare?
I don't know, I would assume they purposefully named them and that they are new to us for a reason.
