QB-poster-630x887.jpg

I was sure there was a thread about Quantum Break here in the forums but turns out there wasn't.

Quantum Break is the new game (exclusively for Xbox One) by Remedy Entertainment and Sam Lake, the guys who created Max Payne and Alan Wake. Today they released a new trailer with news they won't be showing QB at E3 but only at Gamescom in August.

I can't wait for this game and this integration between game and "TV series", Remedy is one of the developers I'll always give a chance since they have a pretty good track record.

I was intrigued at first then I found out it is:

  1. X-bone exclusive (maybe for a while, like Alan Wake), so there it goes,
  2. a multimedia project, and the bad kind.

Seriously, tying a AAA game with a TV show? I heard Defiance turned out pretty lackluster in that regard, these things just don't match. But I guess they want to try it anyways, maybe on the principle of treading on new ground for its own sake? Hey guys, I heard vulcano diving isn't a thing, let's push some boundaries here!

Or it's just Microsoft going full retard on the "all your entertainment in one" thing again.

The "TV show" will be on disc.
