Hi everyone, I'm doing the Precious Metals quest and I'm the circle tower where I'm supposed to deliver the lyrium to Godwin but when I came to the part to go find Godwin, I could only get as far as the Spirit Barrier Door that Wynne had removed earlier in the Broken Circle quest. Shouldn't this barrier still be removed allowing me passage to the Senior Mages Quarters where Godwin is at, or is this quest now glitched. All I need to do is get past the barrier and I can finish the mission. Any ideas on how I can remove the barrier. I really want to finish the quest and get the gold. Thanks for any help.

I've had this happen while doing the broken circle quest.. Wynne removed the barrier, but I couldn't enter. I had to go do something else for a minute (like open that chest by the wall) and try to enter the doorway again. You might try doing something else in that room first, then maybe the door would be passable, or use a different companion to lead? I would try different stuff, talk to a companion, anything to change the scene and try to enter it again.

Are you on PC? If I recall you can also use the console to teleport to the second floor of the tower.

Thanks for the help everyone. I got through the barrier finally. All I had to do was not approach the door dead center. Instead I went to the edge of the barrier and walked right through. I had to do this with each party member though, then carry on as usual. Weird huh? And yes I'm playing on PC.
