It does. They look disorganized when fighting in that scene.
Yeah and aren't the Wardens suppose to be a order of bad ass warriors and mages? Why would they get the D from mere soldiers?

I don't want to have to fight Al...or the Wardens...
My Alistair had a kid with Morrigan. My question is this...Would king Alistair fight to raise his child? If they ignore the whole OGB being rightful heir to the throne of Fereldan thing I'm gunna be disappointed.
if alistair is married and has any kids the OGB wouldn't be. bastards fall behind legitimate heirs. of course ferelden working the way it does, even if the OGB was his heir it wouldn't mean anything if the Landsmeet didn't choose to allow it. the main reason alistair was allowed was the warden and arl eamon.
Nah, Maric would thank the Inquisitor. He'd be like "Thank you good ser. If i had to hear him say swooping is bad any longer i'd probably go insane. Good day to you, i'm off." *puts on shades walks into the sunset*
No, The Quiz will face severe punishments for harming Alistair. Why harm a bro? You can harm Anders all you want but not Alistair.
oh and if alistair challenges my inquisitor it's the murder knife for him. my wardens may like him or want their puppet on the throne. but my inquisitors don't care he would be just another fool who with have kneel or die... and now I'm getting all sort of mental pictures with my planned femqun mage.
Why does everyone so massively overreact to hearing him say that one line? It's innocuous and he says it only twice.
Drunk Alistair says it a lot, as I'm just now discovering in DA2. After the initial convo, he keeps repeating the same 2 or 3 lines whenever I click on him. Oh, and his outfit is godawful ugly.....no wonder he's drunk! ![]()
But that's only us. Can you imagine all the times he repeated that quip when he visited Maric in the fade?
Maric: "D@mn. This is boring."
Alistair: "BOO!"
Maric: "Kiyaaahhh!"
Alistair: *annoying laugh*
Maric: "Curse you! How many times must you persist in this juvenile behavior?"
Alistair: "Oh yeah. Swooping is bad? Amrite"
Maric: *deadpan stare at camera*
But I don't understand why the fans decided that the one line somehow became his catchphrase that he's been running into the ground ever since. It isn't. HE doesn't say it anywhere near enough for that. It was one tiny easter egg that lasted a second in a short cameo appearance. I barely even gave it a second thought.
The way people seem to freak out at the mention of it, you'd think Alistair had said he took an arrow to the knee.

nice answer: people are silly like that.
truthful answer: I don't want to get banned so I'll not post it. ![]()
King Alistair won't
but Drunk Alistair will
There is so much win in this post.

These are likely a splinter group of the Grey Wardens that has been corrupted in some way. I think it is very unlikely that the DA:O Warden and/or Alistair will side with them.

Could be right I think its something to do with legacy from DA2

In all honestly I fear a bit that both the RT and the GW we'll face will be controlled by someone. At least the Tevinter faction/Venatori doesn't seem to be in the same position.
Crazy Cultists, and recycled controlled enemy plots. Why must every enemy be dehumanized?
I wonder what Alistair will be doing if you spared Logaihn and Anora is in charge?
While unpopular with the fans, I would consider it good plot developement to put our inquisitor-who has no connection to these other characters- in a position of being at odds with previous characters. DA is all about multiple view points after all. Just as I expect us to learn that not everything we heard in DAO about the evils of Orlais was accurate.

I think what Alistair does will vary honestly.
I figure in my Fem Human Noble World State he will be busy searching for his Wife and Queen "My Warden" I am curious how B-Ware will justify the Queen of Ferelden disappearing and not have Alistair looking for her.
But I think Grey Warden Alistair might fight us taking into account the questionable actions commited by the Wardens.

Can't make any guarantees if the man seeks to oppose the Inquisition. Don't want to kill him but the Inq's pimp hand is supernaturally strong though, so who knows.
For Anders? He'll catch the pimp hand real quick if he's up to his same old tricks.

Nah that one time in DA][ is enough. Real cheesetastic. Forced too.

If there Grey wardens there corrupted in some way, an only way u will meet Alistair there is if he is still a Grey Warden, you defer wont see The Warden there though prob stroud (if Alistair aint around/King)and Hawke's sibling if that route was taking
