These are likely a splinter group of the Grey Wardens that has been corrupted in some way. I think it is very unlikely that the DA:O Warden and/or Alistair will side with them.
Maybe the twist is Our Warden leads rogue wardens. And is known as the Illusive Warden.

It also makes sense that they'd be in Orlais, considering how important things like fashion and make-up are to the Orlesians.

It really depends. How many here think that King Allistair would be kept in the loop regarding the Grey Wardens' actions? On one hand, keeping involved would be useful as the political and military support of Ferelden could be useful. On the other hand, Allistair's responsibility to his people could warrant attacking the Grey Wardens if they ever stepped out of line. Allistair is a good man and far better than some of the other Grey Wardens that we've met so far.

I think King Alistair would be left in the loop, i dont think Grey Warden Alistair would
You are assuming that these Grey Wardens that the Inquisition are fighting are representing the Wardens as a whole, where it is entirely possible that they are a splinter group of wardens. Even if it was the Wardens as a whole, the only scenario I see Alistair getting involved is if he remained a Grey Warden, as King of Fereldan he should be more concerned with the Veil tears that are pouring demons out into the world, and be using his army to defend his country.

Alistair might do something about it, would depend who he is: A king, grey warden or a drunk. As a king he might send reinforcements but perhaps to help the inquisition instead of opposing them. As a grey warden he might be an enemy. As a drunk, well perhaps you come across him on some road and he wants to end your life for defying the grey wardens 
Fereldan is in a weakened state and still recovering from the blight after x amount of years. King Al probably wont have the men to spare to even think about sending them out to help as he will have his own issues to deal with. If he were a Grey Warden however, I'd start panicking because then it would be much more likely the Inquisitor would be meeting him on the battlefield.
But this depends solely on the role he will play in the game. He may not even be hoofing it around with the wardens if the DA team have decided to implement elements of the comics into the game itself. (those who have read them will know as to what I am referring to) even if Varric was present in those comics, but it's still a possibility. I'm just hoping the warden wasn't snared in that kind of situation or I will chuck bricks.
I am hoping Bioware aren't pulling a King Maric with the Warden.
Depends on if he knows you took out wardens (If those are indeed wardens) and if he can spare troops with all the hullabaloo going on.
Since Alistiar is not kind but a warden, coupled with my warden, id hope the two would defend the wardens until death.
Given that the Blackwall companion seems like someone devoted to his duty (as he sees it) as a Grey Warden, I think that means the attack on the Wardens is either 1) optional, or 2) those particular Wardens had gone rogue and were up to no good.
If it is the latter, King Alistair might welcome the news of their fall.
One interesting fan theory is that the Wardens being attacked had somehow fallen under the spell of Corypheus.

Given that Redcliffe has been completely over-run by rampaging mages, templars and demons, I'm going to say that Alistair has his hands full.
