And as I type this a Vorcha Sentinal joins my lobby, lol. Well, if he spams it like crazy against anything (shileds, pretorian bubble, etc.) like he don't know he even have a gun + until the animation finishes, even though enemy was long time dead, lol. Then it's a match I'm bailing out of ASAP.

 

I just had a match with two Geth Sol's doing nothing bud that, and considering I have a minor headache with a Turtle Beach surround sound headset.... hold on, match is starting....ok, no, he was fine. As in barely used it and when he did he only turned it only briefly to get the DOT going then proceeding to shoot. It was like there wasn't even a Flamer user in the game at all.

 

 

Only noticed something else in that match. Seems like when you scope in a Sniper Rifle, it seems like it mutes the sound of the Flamer? Can't say for sure, but it sure seemed like it?.... A crap, I got another crappy Reactor level... Oh, but it's Collectors. So kinda balances out.

 

 

 

And no, I'm not saying don't that the Flamer ****** thing either. You do whatever you want. And I'll do whatever I want. Avoid Flamer Tards without hesitation from now on.

I just wanted to hear if anyone else is bothered by having the feeling like a flamer guy is right on top of you spamming flamer, even your across the biggest map, lol. You see, maybe if you would of all complained about this when these kits came out like crazy, maybe, just maybe, this serious issue would of been fixed? And guess what? There's still some good in bringing topic like this, in hopes some BioWare guy reads this and makes sure that we don't get this BS in the next Mass Effect game. So no, not a useless thread.

Although I haven't had any Flamer problem in quite a while. And as a Vanguard I'm usually too nomad for them to bother me.

I'm not really sure how mass complaining about Flamer at the time of Rebellion's release would have done anything.

How would you even "fix" Flamer, aside from fundamentally changing the power? Make it silent and invisible?

(Personally I wish the animation had party streamers coming out of your omnitool, but I make do with what I got.)

I'd be happy just if the flames went around the edges of your monitor like a slim aura, and not them being in the &%$# middle of your screen.

The only map I have trouble with flamers is Glacier .

 

Other maps I am constantly moving so I just leave the flamers to do their thing and go and hunt and kill my own.

Kick them on sight, refuse to ready up if they're not kicked.

If they join session in progress, leave or send them hate mail telling them what lamers they are for spamming flamer.

Check their loadouts pregame to determine if they're going to spam it. If you see any tech damage boosting gear or worse yet.. only an Acolyte for a weapon (thanks Cain you mfer) kick, leave or find some way to send a nailbomb to their house.

Treat TGI/Harriers, and Snap Freeze spammers the same way for a much more enjoyable and headache free gaming experience.

You know the solution for all this? Options --> PRIVATE SESSION.

 

Seriously...one thing is to tell Flamers not to shoot behind someone, or Venom users to be careful with their shooting...and another to discriminate basically everyone but you...(should you kick everyone with grenades, too? I remember being messed around by some kind of them, too).

 

And as a Vanguard who frequently gets it's target killed while with no shields, should I kick everybody who does that, too?

 

Just hilarious...that absurd elitism in a game like this is just ridiculous.
