Unfortunately I can't see the video.
Manage to hear it, I believe it's the track "The Fleets Arrive" from Mass Effect 3. Cool stuff!
They need the permissions and to pay the composers, performers etc, (or whoever got the rights) other than that I dont know why would it not be appropriate. Speaking of appropriate, they were advertising a supermarket-chain with 2 steps from hell - protectors of earth, few months ago on our tv. Kind of funny.

The question, whether some music is appropriate or not, could IMHO only be answered from an artistic POV. Unfortunately I cannot watch the video, so I'm not able to tell in this case.
But they used "Leaving Earth" from the ME3 soundtrack for a trailer of the third season of "Homeland" on German TV (and also in other countries I guess). I found it rather weird, because for me that music will always be connected to an epic quest to save the galaxy (esp. with the interjected Reaper sounds), but to the average viewer it is just a sad/disturbing piece of music that fits the plot.
For those in the United States (I believe it is those outside that can't view it), the Overlord DLC music also plays at about 1:25:45 while the documentary is dicussing the effects of the atomic bombings.
There was also a BBC documentary in the UK about Mars a while back, that used quite a few tracks from Mass Effect 2.

I've heard Uncharted Worlds pop up in at least two space documentaries.
The final episode of the documentary when they got to the part about the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, they played the song from Overlord 'Final Conversation'
I actually just came back from a trip to New York and I heard the Mass Effect music on this documentary while browsing the channels. Put a smile on my face and reminded me of home ![]()
So I watched the three part documentary and there is multiple instances in all three parts that they use Mass Effect tracks, I could make out three in some four instances: one was End Run, another The Fleets Arrive (more than once) and the third one is a secret. There might be more that I missed.
Also, there were multiple Two Steps from Hell songs that were featured in this documentary that were used in the Mass Effect trailers. So the guy was definitely a ME fan.
