Yes, it is maybe a little too early but with Inquisition in Alpha, all is set and done in terms of including new things. This is my list :
- More tactical combat (even more than Origins)
- Visiting Nevarra
- Visiting Val Royaeux ( if it does not happen in Inquisition, which i think is the case)
- Dual wielding warriors and rogues with swords ( weapons of choosing in each hand, the only limitations being the attributes)
- Long haired characters. Especially long haired women companions are a must.
- More realistic animations and weighted blows and better feel while swinging weapons. ( less exaggerated movements, pirouettes, rolls, backflips and things of a sort)
- A lot more on/off options ( dialogue icons, helmets, auto attacks.....)
- Spears and other varied weaponry. Warriors should be able to use every single weapon in the game, even staffs, if they have the right amount of str/dex/int etc.
- Dialogue interrupts (ME2-3)
So what do you want to see in the next DA game ? Better to announce it early, if you want it to have any chance of appearing in the next game.
DA IV wishlist !

I believe they said on more than one occasion that's not gonna happen. Deal with it already.

Well, that never hurts. Except it might as well happen in Inquisition, for all we know.
(10million facepalms)
Yeah, you didn't have to play on Nightmare to appreciate cross-class combos. Origins, on the other hand, didn't require any semblance of cooperation, so there.

- I want to visit at least some of the parts of Thedas we haven't been to yet. Don't care if it's Tevinter or the Anderfells or Rivain or Antiva, just want to keep going new places.
- I hope they keep race selection. I didn't mind too much losing it for DA2, but now we've got it back, I would really like it to stay.
- I would like to encounter a Fex. If only so we can find out what a Fex is.
- Another plot that doesn't involve saving the world from a Big Evil. (I may be in the minority, but I consider the story of DA2 a whole lot more interesting than the story of DAO. I'm hoping that DAI, like DAO before it, can overcome the limitations of its basic plot by telling the story well. But I'd hate to see BioWare get stuck with the protagonist having to save the world every time.)
- Cloaks. And pole arms. Hey, we got horses. Some day ...

I didn't 'to really consider the extreme ballooning of hitpoints and random immunities (mabari are immune to fire why exactly...?) to be the height of strategic design, but I do agree it did require you to power level and set up Tactics for cross-Class combos.
I thought the CCC's were a good idea, but were difficult to execute without using the Tactics screen. I don't mind using the Tactics screen, but. I much prefer the "set it and forget it" option rather than having to go in every level and re-tweak it to account for a new skill or ability. ESPECIALLY for the whole party.
If you consider the fact that you play right characters in your party and can go over Level 20 easily in one playthrough , you are talking about setting Tactics dozens upon dozens of times to make sure your newest skills are coordinated to work. That's quote a hassle for a feature designed to be fun.

At no point have they ruled that out for all possible future games.I believe they said on more than one occasion that's not gonna happen. Deal with it already.
But I'd settle for an eqivalent level of control over my character. If they can achieve that with a voiced protagonist, I shall applaud them.

Also this is a wishlist, everyone can write whatever he wants. It is not like we are announcing it so go get some air Maraas. And if you start arguing about whether DA2 requires more tactics than Origins or any other RPG of this type i can instantly render your points useless by saying a single word.

A new and improved ruleset that doesn't involve adding 2000 hp to enemies because they can't be bothered to come up with decent AI settings for encounters.

Maybe not for IV but eventually I'd like to see a DA game featuring a "New world (Out of Thedas) exploration" type of setting like with inspiration from Vasco da Gama, Pedro Álvares Cabral, Magalhães or even Colombus.
New continents and civilizations, first contact with natives and such.

True. It also had cooldowns. But you're right, this thread is about wishes and all that, I shouldn't spoil the fun. Off I go.

No Leliana. She's had 9000 curtain calls already. It's time to move on.
Apart from that, I'd like to go to Tevinter, Navarra, and Rivain. Antiva sounds pretty fun, too. Lots of world out there.

Combat feedback. A log would do, but I'd rather see all of the combat calculations in real time.
Fully detailed mechanics. The game's documentation should tell me everything about how the mechanics work. Stealth, combat, persuasion - everything.
