I know it's only a dream but hey it's suggestions forum

I want Dragon Age to become something between a single player game and an MMO. I want this game to become as complex and deep as an MMO with crafting system, exploring and naturally dungeons and even maybe raids. I just think that this might solve my biggest problem with MMOs. I don't have time to play with others anymore like i used to back in uni  . When i get home and find some time to log in a game, i just want to do what i want at that moment. This could be one or maybe two dungeons, or doing some heroic quests or maybe an instant raid if i have time . But this is almost impossible in todays MMOs. One should join a queue and wait for some time. I know it depends on your class, if you're a tank or a healer you wait significantly less then a dps but hey why am i being forced to play a tank or a healer if all i want is only lesser queue times. This thinking brings me to this ; I imagine a dragon age game with the usual squad game play but with trinity and aggro management added. I wanna level up my hero with a full group from level 1 to max level. And i wanna keep on playing , doing crafting maybe or exploring or doing repeatable dungeons for epics like in MMOs or maybe raids if possible. I wanna be the tank, dps and healer so there is no queue waiting. And maybe there will be expansions, too. That would definitely be cool.

I have no idea if it's technically  possible to create a gameplay like this. But when i remember the archdemon fight back in Origins or Ancient Rock Wraith in deep roads back in DA2, both fights almost felt like a real MMO boss fight. I just want/ expect more  ;)

Lİke i said, it's just a dream. I don't know how much inquisiton will fulfill it but maybe one day i will have a dragon age game like this. :wizard:

- Dual wielding warriors

- Not the special snowflake hero all over again

- Another bioware team to give it a shot.

- Better animations and melee combat in general

- Dialogue wheel like in telltale games. Without the timer. And we way more options without same tones 24/7.

The end of the absurdity of dividing the gameplay in three generic classes, when the lore explicitly divides people in mage and non-mage categories.

In a general sense, less gameplay and story segregation (like the taint *facepalms*).

All i really want is a silent protagonist, or at the very least gives us the option. Extensive mod support will be welcome as well.

A toggle for auto attack is a dreadful idea. If auto attack was off then you would have to switch characters every second to give them a command to use a standard attack... thats not fun

A sensible request for DA4. "messy Kill" animations. Dragon Age 2 got rid of them and i would like to see a return, they look awesome and we haven't had any confirmation we will see them in inquistion, as far as i know, please correct me if i am wrong.

Character customization beyond the face; tattoos, scarring, piercings, muscle tone.

Playable races and, if not playable origins, at least selectable backgrounds.

In line with the above, the option for a human protagonist who isn't from Ferelden.

Primary setting in previously un-explored parts of the world; Nevarra, Rivain, Antiva, Tevinter, Par Vollen. Anything not Ferelden, Orlais, or Free Marches.

A female qunari companion and a female dwarf companion. Humans as a minority among the companions.

I think the poster meant they want to see different races continue in the next game as well.

As for what I'd like

- travel to and start in currently unseen parts of Thedas (Antiva, Nevarra, Rivain etc)

- city elf option (surprised that hasn't been said yet)

- more diverse companions and a set of companions that are a) not returning characters (or an all new cast) and B) no fade spirit companions at all surely people can be interesting enough or expert enough in magic to not need that added element in every game.

- a female qunari (tal-vashoth) companion because I'm curious how she'd see the world compared to other qunari

- an engaging story and characters

- alternate methods to solve problems ie diplomacy, blackmail, intimidation that may or may not be class specific.

- less spiders maybe other new enemies or more DAO darkspawn instead.  :D

YES!

What you are describing is more or less the definition of a dating sim. Which is pretty much what Bioware games already are for some people.

Silent protagonist
Full text dialogue options

OH GOD YES!!!

I just finished another game of Dragon Age Origins and Jade Empire and wow do I prefer the silent protagonist with full text over modern iterations.

- The ability to read 1,000 page long books in game

- The ability to write and publish your own book in game that other NPCs will read and review and you will become famous for it or infamous if it was offensive

- The ability to grow your own garden and a mini-game where you have to kill rabbits that try to steal your food

- Gay birthday parties

- The ability to have sex with a darkspawn ogre at your own risk

* sniper rifles... the cool stuff

* hot & cool male companion i could finaly romance in my 1st PT and make my hubby furious

* cthulhu/hal 9000 (no matter the role, just make a NPC with kickass powers/abilities and exotic morality)

* no dragons

* team up with Obsidian and Bethesda to make bestest game ever

I really want to get right in the middle of the Qunari-Tevinter conflict and as far away from Orlais/Ferelden as we can get.

Travel around Tevinter, Rivain, Nevarra, Free Marches, Seheron

- No cross-gen. Developed solely for PC and current generation consoles.

- Hair that looks and behaves more like real hair. Let's take a step towards what TressFX was aiming to do, or even look at the regular hair tech seen in other games. Hair shouldn't look like plastic.

- The return of the Qunari as both a playable race and substantial threat in the story. Focus on a Qunari invasion perhaps?

- An option to customise muscle size and definition. Perhaps a slider for each. I'm sure there are many people that would like to play a more built female warrior and a less built male mage, for example. I know I'd love the option to play a female warrior inspired by the Amazons of DC.
