Sorry, point was not taken. Personally I do not use equipment on Gold so my TGI specced out of stim packs. Next, I hate Harrier so my TGI wears Lancer (is'n it considered as weak by BSN?). By any means he is not "overpowered", but can do job.

As I said, with equipment Gold became too easy, and random Platinum... no, thank you. By the way, I managed to complete 2 or 3 Platinum games without equipment (by accident, not willingly), so this game still keeps potential for me...

Lancer's not considered to be weak at all. It's just not counted among the Top 4 ARs (Typhoon, Harrier, PPR, Saber).

Stop using infiltrators. The aggro dump already makes everything easier before damage increases. Unless you're on my host, in which case you can try with cloak on a 2 min cooldown  . You would probably also find the 12 enemies on the map at 1 time, 1 second enemy grenade cooldown and berserk status on last 12 less than easy

Maybe, just maybe gold is too easy for you because you're using a TGI with a lancer....

Yep, your host is laggy for me. And stop using MQE (yes, he's monster). Seriously, I using not infiltrators only. My favourite engineers are Turian and Vorcha, I love Havoc, flamerless Geth and grenadeless BatSol, grenadeless Drell Adept, bubbleless Asari Justicar and many other kits.

 

Oh, and about aggro dump. It's true only for "real" infiltrators with single-shot SRs. My poor GI with Indra is CONSTANTLY under fire.

Why does it take longer than 20 seconds for ANY person in a pug lobby to ready up.  I often end up leaving 3 or 4 lobbies before finding a game or being put into an ongoing game because I refuse to wait long at all.

Bliss is so slow about putting her gear on.. she'll gab away for 2-5 minutes before she starts gearing up.. then gets butthurt when I tell her to put her chit on and ready up. It's kinda cute

Outside of BSN? Highly unlikely. I bet that those players are also playing with the people with 2 medigels and not paying attention, which is their fault, then blame it on "no consumables". There are people like me that find good pugs to play with without checking for something that doesnt matter in a lobby. There are fewer on these forums than yours, mainly because they are either ingame playing and don't care about the forums or don't want to post knowing they'd get attacked for thinking their way.

 

 

If low N7 and challenge points, then I assume they just don't have any. Otherwise it's mostly that they just don't bother to take some and either fail colossally or are that good that they can handle it.

And btw. Not all pugs are that bad, even without equipment. Been in a U/Cerb/Gold pug yesterday and a pug using a Human Sentinel with Avenger VII, Adaptive War Amp I and no consumables managed to get 90000 points in the end, all of us having a very even score. And he/she didn't even die that often.

If there are people that know each other and are talking on the mic I have no problem with that, i just leave because i know its going to be a while.  Obvious total pug situatiuons with 4 players that are not talking or should ready up or gtfo of the lobby.  Especially hosts.

 

Edit:  Oh an as for consummables some people are discussing on here.  I refuse to believe people don't have any unless they are N7 1.  Do you have the best mods and ammo upgrades and such?  No but if you are going to be playing on gold ready up your cryo ammo II and your best gear you have.  Lazy bast0rds.

I don't care particularly if someone is too lazy to put on consumable equipment, but I do at least expect them to accept that they are just being lazy.  There is no other valid justification for deliberately choosing to make a co-op team game go slower than it otherwise would.  Your egotism could be the cause of me not managing to squeeze in one more game before bedtime. Not that you'd care, of course, because you're too busy thinking you're impressing virtual strangers with your mad skillz.

Trust me when i say i've used infiltrators as much as you have and i can tell you that aggro dump happens regardless of whether you drop cloak immediately or run around in cloak. The entire system is based off targeting cycles and when stuff targeting you loses sight of you for even a second and the targeting cycle hits, a calculation is done on whether to shoot something else or shoot you. Cyonan covered this under the aggro mechanics.

 

As a infiltrator you should have experienced an enemy suddenly turning around and going for someone else when they are 1m in front of you simply because you cloaked. That's cloaks aggro dump effect.

Its just has bad as running the Demolisher  on platinum and have 2 damn AIUs camping out at your pylon so have to keep moving it.

It is actually a pointless way to measure the actual skill level of the player and score is meaningless, i'm telling you both because it is fact. I can sit here and look at your average score but it doesn't reflect your skill, teamwork, or the way you do objectives while others run off to kill, It isn't kill/death ratio, many factors determine how you get it.

 

No need to save face with a pathetic post like that. If you want to grow up let me know. It's childish to base something off of what I didn't see, so I don't fling around insults like I know the person and their skill level. If you want to do that while spamming smiley faces, that's fine, but that doesn't make you clever.

Yes its a poor way to measure average score because it doesn't account for the different builds you use or builds you try out. Looking back at that thread he was completely off topic and apologized.

 

If you got anything else relevant to the topic i'll reply to that, otherwise i'm done with this pointless discussion about score. You either seen me play or your reply means little in the long run.
