the problem with all of these threads that deal with the cost of dlc's and expansions is that the posters don't want to wait until the price drops. they want it NOW, and they want it NOW at a CHEAPER price.
i guess that says something about how good the game really is...
The expansion sure is expensive!

I agree, I guess that's one thing we all (for the most part) have in common, we love the game and want more.

See...the main reason console games are more expensive is due to the licensing BS.
PC's don't have that, it is something PC gamers have enjoyed for quite some time.
So....why now? because console gamers are mad that we pay less? We make up for it by paying more for our PC's.

So, If I buy digital version of awakening, will I be able to install it, since I have the retail version (You know, the physical one, which you can hold and hug and kiss and...well....) and doesn't those digital version require somekind on program? I'm totally newbie in this digital stuff... (Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I prefer the physica copy, since it looks nice on the shelf). But I'm not that crazy to pay 65e for a game that I can get for 27e (EA store has this pre-order price)...
I ... think ... the EA Store one will work with your retail one.
I also think you can put the retail code for Dragon Age into the EA downloader, and you can get the DD version for free from EA, and that version will work for sure with the DD version of Awakening.

So I'll just hit the CD-key to the download manager and that's that? For free? That could actually be quite nice...Thank you for the info.
Btw, do I need to uninstall the game before I can download it, or could I download it at the same time I play?
And sorry for the offtopic here, please don't ban me or rob my Wardern's Keep :-D
This info (if it's not common knowledge) could be quite useful to some other player aswell :-)

Exactly. We want more. I am playing it the second time around and it is still going to take me 45 hours or so to finish it. That is the length of time that I mean. The expansion I wanted it to be that long to play and I was glad to get it so soon. I am still glad but if it is a lot shorter I'll be disappointed.
Shale, the warden's keep, and Return to Ostagar are short quests. Shale being the longest and not much even so. They are the entrees for the Awakenings feast I expected. Only now I see it will be only a light supper.
