Hello there Spectres,

I've imported a ME2 character with Kasumi (loyal, kept greybox) to make her available at the Citadel DLC, but I'm having a weird problem that's been bugging me for many hours now and I hope you can help me.

My primary goal: Having Kasumi at the party and on the picture

My secondary goal: Interact with her at the casino heist

I can't find the suspicious button in the Silver Coast Casino to trigger the appearence of Kasumi, though (I know where it's supposed to be thanks to Google).

I think it's related to the Hanar-Mission earlier in the game, that I've missed. I've found an early save, allowing me to replay it and monitor the changes in the save files via Gibbeds Save Editor (r90). I added all the changes I noticed (Plot: Completed Mission, Saved Homeworld, Quest ID: 60082, Quest Progess: Same consecutive number as in Quest ID, Streaming: SS_HanarPlot), but the button remains missing when I load the newly created save or leave and return to make the game reload the strip area.

I've got the Normandy back from the clone and done all sidequests except some of the minor one's at the arena (battle X without Y). I talked to everyone I could on the strip and got the party supplies, but didn't invite anyone yet.

Am I missing something or is it simply impossible to enable the button (or Kasumi respectively) afterwards?

Thx! :)

It is possible that the button only activates after you had some other crew interactions (e.g. invited someone to the apartement).

But in that case you should be able to inviter her to the party, regardless of if you met her in the Casino or not.

If I had to guess - you missed something when copying over details of her personal quest. Because she will only appear if you've done that. (Like Thane will only appear during the coup if you chatted with him in the hospital.) But the only way to be sure would be to replay from that earlier save - and I can understand if you don't want to do that.

Don't suppose there's any way you could reset the Citadel to 'pre-coup', play Kasumi's mission, then set things back to normal?

This.

The crew interactions seem to unlock in some kind of order.

Also, depending on how you do things, some crew meet-ups only happen after the party. Happened to me on 2 of my playthroughs.

You can do all the crew meetups before the party. I've always done it in that order.

I'm pretty sure that THIS is your reason.  The flags that you have changed may not be all you need to do.  If Kasumi was present for the Hanar mission, then BOTH the Hanar Homeworld should be safe AND Jondam Bau should be alive.  If you can't set flags for BOTH of those events, then you likely will have to replay from an earlier save in order to have interacted with Kasumi and thereby enabling her content in the Citadel DLC.

Sorry for the bad news.

You can, but it doesn't always happen.

For instance, the two times it didn't happen for me was when I had done everything and saved Citadel for right before attacking the Cerberus base. At some point, I just stopped getting meet-ups. I was worried the thing had bugged on me because I knew there were meet-ups I hadn't done yet. Then I finally did the party, and sure enough they unlocked.

A couple of times Kasumi was the first character I would meet and then I would go meet Zaeed and Traynor. After that I would go back to the apartment and receive more emails about meeting characters

I guess the easiest ingame test to find out if she is there at all, would be to buy the party supplies.

If you can Invite Kasumi to the party, you will eventually 'unlock' the button -If you can't invite her, some flag is still missing.

Thank's for your replies. :) I was afraid it wouldn't as simple as checking a certain box like the Wrex / Wreav switch. The thing is I played all ME's so many times without any save editors, but I'm still discovering new stuff. This time, I wanted to focus especially on those things but it's kinda hard to predict when or where something previously unknown will happen without the spoiler-heavy walkthroughs. Ironically, the Hanar mission wasn't bugged in my case so I probably had a good chance to meet Kasumi in the casino. Unfortunately, the last save before Citadel is 25 hours of play time older. I'm curious though: Can you make a charakter appear at the party? It was simple console command in Skyrim, but I figure ME's game structure is a lot less open.
