Hello! On the server to which I belong we have the last cep's version and I would like to know one thing: if someone takes a feat like Focus Weaon or Improved Critical on a Bastard Sword, is there the possibility to apply them by script also on a Mercurial Sword? I tried to look but I didn't find the scripts that manage feats. Can you tell me where they are?

I also would like to know where to find the scripts for the stealth mode, because I'd like to add a feature when someone use it but I didn't find that script too.

Thanks in advantage!

P.S:
Sorry for my english, I tried to do my best :)

Yes, but it requires that the server be using NWNX2 with a plugin like nwnx_cool.dll or nwnx_weapons.dll.

Not sure about scripting for entering stealth mode, but there's probably a NWNX2 plugin that can catch that game event.

Neither function you are looking for can be addressed by default NWN scripting on its own.

Thanks for your help. I will try these two plugins for nwnx2.

Why don't you just have your Mercurial sword appearances be assigned to the bastard sword base item?

As I understand it, feats are specific to the base item, not to the item appearance.  Having more bastard sword appearances should keep the feat bonuses for all added appearances assuming baseitems.2da is updated properly to look for them.

EDIT: OK, Mercurial blades have a natural +2 to multiplier.  So why not make all bastard swords have that +2.  As far as I see it, if you are going to add Mercurial blades, then there is little reason to have the generic bastard swords.  And while your at it you can use the 3.5 variant for the katana to increase its threat range by one.
