<passing...>

@ Empyre: Hey! No offense even occurred to me :-)

That thing is *Heavy* and probably *should* be optimized better for general use, but I'm rather amazed how well it's working as is and kinda all giggly and bright-eyed with creation-mojo.

I always want feedback and value anyone who tries to help or even just posts appreciation :-)

So, that's kinda the opposite of offense or insult. Thank *you* for posting =)

Now, back to the party... ;-)

@ PHoD: That is genius! Twisted gibbering nasty genius :-)

I'll take two.

Just trying to finish up all the portraits and item icons now. Shouldn't be more than a day or so to mask and crop all the images.

Are some icon variations of this Philosopher's_Stone (FMA) suitable?

I know this dwarf who broke into Shemsu-Heru's Forge and played around with his latest artifacts. He took pictures and sent them to me.

Axe of the Dwarvish Lords

shems_axe1.jpg

That appears to be the standard Summon Elemental property which usually summons a puny little elemental. But this axe appears to only summon the elders.

shems_axe2.jpg

Next he sent to me shots of the Sword of Kas which looked great in the box...

shems_swordofkas1.jpg

but shrunk as soon as he picked it up.

shems_swordofkas2.jpg

shems_swordofkas3.jpg

He said that he had a chat with the blade. He did not divulge the details of their conversation, but apparently the Dagger of Kas could restore itself to a more respectable stature. When I received his selfies, I was surprised to see what shape the dwarf chose for this blade.

Thanks for the welcome. I am not really new. I've been around since '06, with a 2-year-long hiatus during which we lost the old forums.

I lurk in this forum to see the awesome stuff you're creating. The only NWN "content" I am any good at making are character builds, and even there, I am only competent, not one of the masters.

On topic, that sword is soo cool. It is like Enserric's better-looking cousin.

Following on from the Quihex, bottom of previous page, is another nasty, slimy relic of the same warped culture.

The Tharidian Forge was the heart of the empire's power, essentially a cytological mutation generator capable of distorting any living creatures placed within it into freakish abominations of great size and power slaved to the malevolent minds of the Tharidian Hierarchs. When she annihilated the empire, Lucirath also destroyed the Forge. However, the core of the forge, which she refers to as the "Lathe of Spleens", has recently become mysteriously reactivated...

PHoDSpleenLathe.jpg

Clearly, the Lathe of Spleens is a horrible thing. The model has built in emitters as shown. Horrible emitters. And its warped geometry is horrible and unnecessarily strange. And it reeks too.

It is also a disgustingly impossible object to show clearly in a screenshot. But you can probably get the general idea.

Philosophers stone (Full metal alchemist versions)

Screenshot_zps88691de1.png

These "Stones" were created long time ago by creature knows as father.

They are basicaly hundreds of compressed human souls.

Edit: Oh i totally forgoten to write something about the power!

These stones can extremely raise power of the wielder, but with each use it burn away some souls inside.

When it get into somebody it gives him many lives (eqeual to souls in the stone), but also negative emotions of           the souls

First custom content Yay!

Bonjour, Anamorphose...

Still having fun with the Aliens?

All the Weird PHoD Placeables shown here will be available in the CCC Hak for this month when it gets posted.

As for Lucirath and Zeriel, they're not available anywhere, nor will they be - but I'll send you a message (perhaps when this month is over and I've got all the Weird Things finished properly) to discuss some other options...

ANOTHER disgusting Quihex relic...

The Quihex Orb is a filthy great misnomer because clearly, as anybody with even rudimentary and vestigial eyesight can immediately appreciate, there are, in fact, three Orbs.

But it's the whopping one in the middle that does all the murky, Spleen-shaped Evilist stuff - the smaller ones are just relays.

PHoDQuihexOrb.jpg

Naturally the Quihex Orb (that is actually three Orbs and Fifi won't stop telling me so) displays the same warped Spleen appearance as the other sinister anachronisms posted earlier. EVENTUALLY, at a point unimaginably distant in time, I shall get round to finishing the entire Quihex collection and their derelict citadel Tileset. He said optimistically. But at least I've now got the more significant of their relics done.

More bizarre PHoD rubbish still to come this month...

This is mostly just an experiment, but it has uses as it stands.

Basically it's just the Illithid Globe thing BioWare did for HotU - you know, the silvery blob that rotates when it's live and set to "activated". I've been looking at that rotating activity and thinking of possibilities for some time.

What you have here is more or less the same Placeable only it's MUCH bigger. And it has a mottled, tarnished metal texture. AND, to actually get to the point, it has four Satellite Spheres. These are linked to the main central Sphere and so, when it rotates (yes, you guessed) the four Satellite Spheres orbit around it in a pleasingly varied way.

PHoDRMBalls.jpg

Naturally, you can't see the orbiting activity of the four smaller spheres in a screenshot, but I'm sure you can imagine. Mostly you can see herself, as usual, and some Ginormous Rats. Just ignore the Gimongous Rats; I've been experimenting on them some more.

I'm currently not at all sure about the lurid yellowy emitters "supporting" the central globe. Might well strip them out and leave it levitating of its own volition. You can add VFX Placeables yourselves then, if you wish. Anyway, it looks rather nice with the satellite orbs orbiting the central one and I have ridiculously ambitious plans for a far, far larger and more complex version - think Aughra's Observatory in Dark Crystal - but I'm certainly not going to get that done this month.

It's just irritating that you can't add any animation to a Placeable without it having to be set to "Useable". I SO wish there was a way to have static Placeables with moving parts.

EDIT:- The PHoD Rotating Nonsense Thing must be both "Useable" and set to "Activated" in the Placeable's Properties tab in order for it to rotate. Otherwise it'll just sit there like a Spleen. I'm sure you'd already figured that out, but I thought I'd say, just to be sure.

I can see uses for a version of that (once re-skinned) without the orbiting spheres (planetary display anyone).

That old Solar System thingy is a useful little whassname - I've been using it for years.

But it only rotates in a single plane. Very tame.

With the idiot Metal Ball thing I did, the orbital plane shifts through something like 150 degrees whilst it cycles which gives it a much wilder appearance. Thus, for the ridiculously overcomplex thing I'm planning, with multiple Balls at differing angles of inclination with multiple satellites each in multiple arcs of orbit which intersect (and will probably crash into each other a lot to start with), the combined anim loops should give a really, really interesting web of movement.

OR it'll just suck totally. One or the other.
