I'm a huge reader and I always like a good sci-fi book, is it wrong for me to belive Mass Effect has... an incredible amount of borrowed ideas? Or this not an istablished fact here?
I just wanted to know if I was the only one who noticed.
Mass effect storyline.

Most things nowadays do. I felt that Dragon Age was much more obvious in this regard, but it's not something that really bugs me. What really matters to me is how they present it and I think Bioware has done a great job so far and actually made me prefer their creations moreso than some of the others they were inspired by.

Mass Effect does have a lot of borrowed ideas from other Sci Fi stuff. And yet, it's well put together and compelling in it's own right. I'd rank Mass Effect's universe up there with the best of them.
