Mass Effect Wiki isn't much of a help, and their methods just don't work with me... Is there like an easier program to use or a better explanation of patching the bytes? I bought the Trilogy set, and for Mass Effect 3, there were different lines for the different versions of Mass Effect 3 that needed to be patched. I'm worried that Mass Effect 2 may also do the same to me as in the bytes that are needed to patched are located on a different line than the one said by one of the Mass Effect wiki links...
How do you enable the Mass Effect 2 In-game Console?

with EpicLegion's PCC Patcher. you can remove the 50-save limit and unlock the console among other things

Yeah, I do have that on my computer, but there's like no explanation on how to use it...if there is, I'm not seeing it.

Simple:
- start PCCPatcher
- in the Main Tab, load Engine.pcc and SFXGame.pcc, both located in Mass Effect 2\BioGame\CookedPC
- click on "Load packages", the message console should show "Package files have been successfully loaded".
keep in mind it won't display that if your ME2 copy is out of date. The PCC Patcher only supports version 1.0.2. Origin doesn't update it automatically so you'll need to find the update yourself. MassEffect2-1.02.exe
Anyhow, if all is good, proceed:
- to go "Engine" tab and check "Unlock in-game console"
- then if you want, go to "Gameplay" tab and check "increase max saves" & "remove shared cooldown". I have no idea what the other options are, so don't ask. Except for the Blind AI thing, which would make the game pointless.
when you're done, return to the Main Tab and click "Save packages". If all is good, the message console will say "packages saved successfully". Naturally the ~ key opens the in-game console.

When I extract the zipped file to a any location, my antivirous always removes the PCCPatcher.exe
Is the file unsafe or my antivirous being overprotective? XD.

It's being overprotective. I've been using it for quite awhile now.

That means the file is safe then. How can I prevent it from deletion? I'm a bit noob lol

Well, on my laptop, it would say that it's unsafe, but then there should be some kind of icon that will give you more options about what you want to do. You may either proceed with deletion, or open the file regardless. It kept doing this to me too, and so, when the message popped up, I looked for an icon or something that I could click on to give me more options about what sort of action to take.

Ok well this is a step in the right direction for me but every time I try to load the files you mentioned, the program crashed. Any tips on how to fix this problem?

nvm about me previous comment, I got that much figured out, but now I don't understand how to use the ingame property editor once I have it enabled. I thought there was some kind of code for the console or something that lets you use the ingame property editor but I can't figure it out and looking all over the internet is yielding no results even after reading through dozens of links and dozens of forums. I'm getting desperate and I'm now wondering if anybody at all in the whole wide world knows how to use the freaking property editor once it's already been enabled?

I believe the DLC Patch activates the development console too. https://github.com/E...seffect-binkw32
