Benzemar gave a great show! Two great goals! The game was a little violent, lol. Especially when the two coaches were arguing if the ball really crossed the line or no...for me, it did. What about you folks? Technology aside, of course.

For me, France's defense couldn't be tested properly on this match.

PS: For those concerned with Ronaldo's hair tomorrow, that will depend if it's hot or rainy tomorrow here in Salvador. But, hell, it's Ronaldo's hair.... What could possibly go wrong?

Nah, it hit the post and rebounded along the goal line towards the keeper who was unlucky to knock it just over as he was trying to clear it.

 

Argentina's performance so far leaves me wondering why so many pundits consider them favourites for the tournament. Granted they have one of the easiest looking groups but they'll need to show much more than this if they want to win.

Argentina have been disappointing in this match, but a win's a win if they can hang on to it. No one has come close to the impressive second half performance of the Dutch so far.
