Holy *** what a rollercoaster.
Great game. I can't shake the impression that Ghana sold themselves under value, but hot damn they gave a good fight! Very nice game, brilliant to watch and the final ten minutes were one prolonged anxiety attack!

One goal too many from Ghana for me to finally get a result right, but whatever, this was a nice compensation for the Iran/Nigeria match - ****** rollercoaster indeed!

IIRC, USA - Ghana in 2010 was an exciting match too. Though I can't remember whether it was actually a really good game or if it was thrilling because I was close to grabbing 10 points back then.
But yeah, this was a lot more fun to watch than Iran - Nigeria.

I rather watch grass grow and paint dry than watch Iran - Nigeria one more time >..<

Yeah, total borefest. I hate to say it, because I'm a Jon Snow when it comes to football, but Iran and Nigeria seemed like a bunch of amateurs to me, lol.

revenge feels great that what you get for eliminating usa in 2010 Germany went in hard Iran vs Nigeria was alright probably the most boring game so far

It seems Captain America was secretly in the team and is the reason of America's win!
AHH. I am *loving* this cup. Seriously, practically every single game has been an upset/some unexpected result/some ass-kicking. Now U.S. leads Ghana at 32 seconds in? Damn good tournament so far.
No. Dat Iran-Nigeria exists to disprove your claims! lol
Let's see. Another night with zero points for me. ![]()

What the hell Ghana? USA is suppose to lose anything
And Abraham, JRCHOharry and Caladin, make sure your predictions are in before the start of the brazilian game this evening

Brazil and Netherlands will definitely win. The real question is by how many goals?

The USA Ghana game was excellent, Too bad the ghana shooters could't hit the broad side of a barn. # 23 of the americans was a prefect agitator.
I want to give the official in that game a lot of credit it was a very well reffed game in my opinion. Especially when instead of just ripping out the yellow card he took the two players aside, gave them a warning and let them shake hands.

I'm flattering to deceive again, I think I finished top of the groups in the last World Cup and European Championships only to completely fall apart when it mattered. I'm like the Dutch team of these pools, look good early on but never seem to win the bloody thing.
If anyone is doing any bets on tonights matches then either of Brazils centrebacks to score anytime against the Mexicans looks decent. Mexico seemed dodgy defending set plays and Brazil should get plenty of freekicks and corners to swing in if the refs continue to favour the hosts.

Deserved if you ask me, the defender was beat and grappled the Algerian. Nice for them to score a goal though.
