Spain looking totally lost out there. Almost feels like they'd rather be anywhere else rather than on that pitch, even before the goals.

I knew that they weren't as strong as in the past years, but I wasn't expecting this.
Chile is playing a good match.
Indeed, weak but i expected them to at least put up a real fight and not look like this. Goodness they really do look lost

They're trying a bit more now. They had two good chances.

This is worse than Italy in the last World Cup, Spain is the first champions eliminated after two games in the group stage.

I never thought that Spain out of all teams would be eliminated after two games, that's just insane and yet it has happened and they have been absolutely terrible. How the mighty have fallen

I hope to see Del Bosque uses Santi Cazorla and Koke and the rest of younger players (if there is any) in the last match.
Cheers for Croatia, though they scored a goal more than I wanted. And hurray for Holland for changing a defeat to a win.
Go Ivory Coast and show Columbia who's the boss!

I knew it. I knew The Netherlands had a bad team..That victory was totally undeserved.
Australia fought for all it had while we were just standing there, kicking the ball randomly to the front. The entire midfield was missing; I haven't seen De Guzman in the entire match and everytime Sneijder got the ball he just passed it on into nothing or a kangaroo and same goes for the so called star of The Netherlands, Blind..
I honestly do not understand why Van Gaal didn't put Kuyt or Hunterlaar onto the field. They are workers, they would have been able to get some movement into the game and halt Australia..
The penalty was a wrong decision but Australia was way more threatening than The Netherlands.
The Spain match was interesting to watch as well. Spain had just completely given up hope even before the match started. I had expected them to at least try to grasp their last chance into staying in the WC but I guess they just wanted to go home..
But we won, we are safe and Spain can go home, that's all that counts!

Cameroon was disgustingly bad in both of their games, it looked like they were just happy to get to the cup and that was it. Croatia would have won 8-0 quite easily and the red card was totally idiotic. What a difference between some lower tier sides that decide they are going to play their asses off (like Australia, Costa Rica, even Algeria) and ones that just lay down the minute something bad happens to them.

The Cameroon players probably just wanted the bonus of getting there and playing a few games. They at least didn't send any better signals to the world than that and i'm glad to have them eliminated, such horrible football and even worse mentality

The worst thing is you look at the players and they have size, speed and some skill, just absolutely zero heart in either of their games.

So what's horrible about that? Maybe 150 countries of the world would be satisfied if they just reached the world cup.
And worthy teams like Serbia and China shouldn't be on the world cup...

Because getting there is a privilege and to not come out with any effort let alone your best effort is sad. Once you get there at least do your country proud.
And to go along with that my new fav underdog for the tourney is Cote D'viore after seeing their players singing their anthem and the one player in tears as the anthem was played.

I think the Cameroon players caused a huge argument before the tournament and may have even gone on strike over bonus payments for playing, I can't remember the whole story. I don't understand why people who in general get paid more than an average persons yearly wages in a week require payment to play in a tournament most people would give their right bollock to play in. Then turning up and playing like that? I'd drop the entire team and ban them from playing for the national team for life. Is flaying out of the question?
