Oh well...
I'll look on the bright side.
England is one of the nations of Great Britain.
Team GB did really well in the 2012 Summer Olympic games and managed to win a few medals in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
You know what? I feel better already.
England + Wales can do something. With the addition of Bale and Ramsey they can actually score goals.
Rooney is still disappointing, despite scoring one goal. Also Hart ain't really a good goal-keeper.

Even though the first people are crossing the 100 point mark (CrazyRah and Druss), the undisputed leader is bFootball with already 6 full scores and only 6 matches without a point.
After a slow start Cerrydd is on a roll with points in 7 of the 9 last games, including 2 fully correct scores.
A lot of people correctly predicted Columbia - Ivory Coast it seems..
And I got my first fully correct score! (and my second as well
)
I managed to watch both the Columbia - Ivory Coast and the Uruguay - England match and they were really nice. It is going to be really hard for England to advance to the next round now and they probably won't make it but everthing is possible this WC..
It was an awesome experience watch a World Cup game in the stadium, on my front there was scots who were cheering for Uruguay. lol
Nice, I watched in to tv and it was a really nice match and live in the stadium they are even better.
They mentioned those guys on tv ![]()

Overall doing better than i expected and that with some predictions gone hilariously wrong. Good football and a good amount of excitement in the games too, so far been a great WC!

Couldn't agree more! Hope Costa Rica can put up a good fight against Italy today.

Now the pressure is all on you, we are all expecting you to do well. The chasing pack is at your heels, breathing down your neck, you can't make any mistakes. It's yours to lose.
P.S. Let me know if these mind games work, they failed to work on OBaka last time. ![]()

Total travesty of a non penalty call vs the Italians but then Costa Rica pots one just seconds later anyway.

This will be the lamest world cup ever if all the big teams are gonna ruin their matches and second rated teams reach the finals.

There's always a few upsets along the way. It will still end up with two of the bigger teams in the final.

Except the big teams are simply being outplayed by "second rate" teams. Colombia, Costa Rica, and Chile. They've all been exceptional, and I wouldn't be surprised if they make it to the finals.

This WC is getting better and better.
Costa Rica through to the 1/8th after only 2 matches, Bye England and Bye Italy/Uruguay
Really a deserved win. Costa Rica played as a team while Italy was completely inactive. Nobody moved and when they had the ball everyone was his own little island.. Even Pirlo played bad, staying way to much near his own defenders and almost never leaving his own half..
And indeed again bad ref calls. Costa Rica deserved a penaly and Italy could have had one as well plus that assistant referee must have enhanced vision to be able to see so many offside moments when the difference couldn't be more than a couple centimetres..

I strongly disagree, I think these kind of surprises (Costa Rica, Chile ) make this tournament more interesting and enjoyable to watch. Also the second rated teams are just simply playing better so I think the big teams deserve what they get. Really hope Uruguay puts Italy out of their misery and sends them home.

Had a blast watching the game in a sports bar in town with a couple of friends in which one comes from Costa Rica. Once again, perfectly happy to see my prediction collapse for the sake of an upset

What a whacky game, the swiss tender blows both of the 1st two goals, then stops a penalty and france misses a total gimme on the wide open net on the rebound.

I talked to my pops yesterday who breathes football and he says based on history Uruguay has more wins than Italy when they face off. That will be interesting match. If Cavani can connect with Suarez like yesterday I can see Uruguay taking it or at least tying.

Finally someone has scored from a freekick. How many efforts were there before one went in?
