I talked to my pops yesterday who breathes football and he says based on history Uruguay has more wins than Italy when they face off. That will be interesting match. If Cavani can connect with Suarez like yesterday I can see Uruguay taking it or at least tying.
I personally don't see this Balotelli as a lone striker set up really working well.

I strongly disagree, I think these kind of surprises (Costa Rica, Chile ) make this tournament more interesting and enjoyable to watch. Also the second rated teams are just simply playing better so I think the big teams deserve what they get. Really hope Uruguay puts Italy out of their misery and sends them home.
I prefer what Druss said.
And if all big and awesome teams get annihilated, I simply stop watching World Cup. Ecuador - Costa Rica my ass! But I support a Russia - Iran final! lol

Full marks to Costa Rica, they played well and just wanted it more. Italy seemed to wilt in the last 10 minutes, when they need to attack.

Iran played a brilliant game and perhaps the best player in the world was the difference.
Germany was very very lucky to get a draw, both of their goals were very nice lucky bounces.

I hope both Argentina and Iran go to the next round. Bosnia isn't at the level of Croatia and Serbia. If Kosovo wasn't divided, Serbia would make it to the world cup.
Germany-Ghana match was very good. Both teams played well, Germany didn't played bad but Ghana played excellent. 6 goal chances vs 10 goal chances... we actually forgot that they went high in the 2010 world cup.
