I couldn't watch yesterday's matches not even our own one.. but it looks like not much changed since last matches

Snjeider has been crap all match, but what a strike just when they need it.

Sneijder has been crap all WC, same as Robben but they are there when they need to be.

Big call sending on Huntelaar but ultimately he set u the first goal and scored the second. Quite the substitution.

I have always liked The Hunter way more than Sneijder/Robben/Van Persie so it is really nice that he won this match for us.

I have updated the scores once more; The winner is far from determined, with only 10 points seperating the first 3 place any mistake can be deadly!

Robben is one of those players who looks better than he actually is, he looks like he is offering up a huge threat when a lot of the time he will stop himself with poor finishing or decision making. Snjeider just isn't even half the player he used to be, he has barely had any impact on matches so far. I like Huntelaar, but he relies on service a lot more than RVP does. I think the Dutch have a real chance of winning the whole thing. They are finding a way to win matches without playing overly well. They also have the potential to rip teams apart when it all clicks.

I was about to attempt some mind games and put pressure on bFootball and Crazyrah, until I realised you're only 10 points behind me, Kimo. When the hell did that happen? Now I'm feeling the pressure! Anyone can still win this.

That unaccepted goal nearly made say Fuuuuuuuuu...!

Robben played greatly in the last world cup, Europa Championship 2013-14 and the first match of this world cup. His dribbling, long passes and shoots is very good in general.

Considering that Real Madrid, Arsenal and Olympique Lyon.. are my favorite teams in Europe, naturally I like France team.

Though all three teams didn't have their best seasons last year a 3-0 was too much for a prediction. Real's triumph in the last Europa Championship shows a definite downgrade in European football (not much rivalry).

And I think we will see at least +6 minutes of extra time.

I would support England, but I only support England when they're still in the game. :crying:

Well good luck France and Germany.

Oh and as for England. :crying:

Great match to watch.

Howedes and Mertesacker are playing really bad. I hope they don't ruin this match.

...

[edit] 45 minutes later... no one watches football tonight? People have given up?

Nice goal by Schurle.

0-0 Germany-Algeria

Had to go to an extra period

Germany scores instantly(of course)

Would've scored earlier if Based-Schweinsteiger had his goddamned Riesens

They nearly pulled it back. Algeria oh so nearly brought it to penalties.

Damn complacent Schweinsteiger.

Müller had his share of opportunities. If it wasn't for the goalkeepers of both teams, then this could have ended differently. Quite an exciting match, Next it's France & Germany, a more traditional match to say the least. Holding out for Germany.

Joachim Low was crazy to not put Klose in the game at the end of the second half.

Humiliating the opposing team, you just humiliate your own team.

I say, Algerians were playing really good-- and that's why Germany's victory is a big deal, so I respect both Germany and Algeria. If you say Algeria wasn't good enough, then what took Germany so long to win and what so great about German team?  ;)

Damn, I'm not sure whom to root for when it comes down to France vs Germany.

Although they won both last matches, Germany really could've played better. They're not at their best by far.

So last mid-night match (Germany-Algeria) had these results:

78% possession vs 22%

16 shoots in the goal vs 4 shoots

9 corners vs 3 corners

2 saving goals vs 10 saving goals

Neuer did a great job just like Algeria's goalkeeper. If there were others this match would have had more than 5 goals.

Germany - Algeria was a really good match. Germany couldn't get the match under control and if it wasn't for both keepers thery would have been a lot of goals

When they made it to extra time I still had good hopes that Algeria would actually be able to make it to penalty shootouts but Germany always has Muller.

The match was too good to interupt and come here :)

Not enough people in this thread talking about Schweinsteiger

He doesn't deserve much attention the way he played..
