Eeeeeh, that's rather subjective.

Ofcourse it is, the USA isn't the most powerfull nation in many, many aspects but it sounds much better this way

To be honest, I'd say Germany is stronger.

Since you know, their economy isn't ****.

Wazzuuuup!!!
I'm back I think! Since my country's team became a punching bag, I'd rather be discussing or even better, playing some games! heh It was a predicted tragedy though. We all knew here that lame team wouldn't make it and I personally was surprised it has beaten Chile. Really bad management.
And it is very nice to see other teams playing like Brazil taught the world to play back in 1982 but only because they lost that WC, that beautiful playing style was desecrated here.
Go Germans!  (my real disappointment was with the Dutch, after their opening show against Spain. I expected them to keep playing great all through the tournament but I was wrong.

Regards from Brazil and I'm just glad that Argentinians are going back home instead of leaving their 1/2 azz country and invading us for good, which would have happened had they won the WC! =)))

Harsh on Argentina, a draw would've been a fair result (but obviously not possible). Argentina had chances to score and didn't. Germany had chances to score and took one of them. That's why they won.

Atleast Germany tried to score. Argentina was trying to drag it out to penalties, because they knew they would have won those.

BTW, the best three teams were Germany, Argentina and Netherlands and they got the place they deserved. Poor Columbia could be the 4th great team of this world cup instead of Brazil if things would happen some other way.

Congratulations to Germany for the gold. Hoped all the way for them and i feel rather happy that they in the end were the ones to win it aswell even if Argentina were by no means weak in the final. Two teams that tried and this time around it was Germany

Also massive credit to Kimosabe0 for holding this fun little competition and keeping all the predictions in check and just organizing something that was a blast to be part off! This has been a rather wonderful world cup to follow and this made it just that much more entertaining! Thanks for making it happen and thanks to everyone that participated because it really was fun!

Now.. YAY I WON! Did just enter for the fun of it and while i did expect to do alright i really had no expectations to do this well and actually win it was not something i considered possible until the groupstage was over and i still was up there fighting. Now in honor of my victory i shall celebrate coming home from work by drinking a beer

Overall just a great world cup in my opinion.  Upsets, lots of goals, some vet stars with one last hurrah some newcomer stars you know you'll be seeing down the road.  Amazingly good reffing overall if you ask me.

Also thanks for the prediction pool, it was a fun addition.

It was a really great World Cup and I'm in awe I've had the opportunity to see one happening here in my country.

Going to the games and interacting with people of other countries was a ****** awesome experience that I'll never forget.

Too bad I didn't find a korean wife.

Thanks Kimo for setting up this thread and the work you put into it again :)

Germany will be world champion for the upcoming four years...in two years the European cup will be fought over.

Will Spain, Italie and England get their revenge and reclaim their status I wonder.

For now congrats Germany with your great performance in this WC!

Man, that picture's shoddily edited.

But congrats to the Schweinest of the Steigers, all that work during the world cup paid off.

We did. When Messi was off repeatedly running into Schweinsteiger's torso, yet somehow bagged the Golden ball, we had his back.

Now he's team captain. Nuff said.

Lets be honest, they should've casted Schweinsteiger as The Hans
