So, I was playing a 3.5e game with my buddies, and that inspired me to reinstall NWN2. In the game, I played my favorite class, the Duskblade, which is unfortunately missing from both the base game and the famous Kaedrin's PRC pack. Searching around on the innerwebs, I found that this old custom content pack may include the Duskblade, but I have absolutely zero idea how to install this- I'm used to "easy" mods being just dropped into the override folder. Do I have to go and edit every module of the official campaign to add these classes in? I'd appreciate whatever help I can get.
Can someone please tell me how to add this mod (Player Resource Group's PRG Pack) to the official campaigns?

The author states this on the install notes.
To Install:
Add the haks to the module using the toolset. The haks should be listed in the following order (top to bottom):
So yes, you would need to open every module on the campaign you want to play, and add the haks to them. Easy enough, but time wasting.
There is a way to use them as override though.
If you download the NWN2 packer from the vault http://nwvault.ign.c...ols.detail&id=9
then you can extract the files and put them in your override. I don't see why this won't work. I do it for hak packs that I want to include in my campaign, but not the whole pack.
Some things to keep in mind.
Keep the extracted files in order, because there might be a serious amount of folder in the pack you have your eye on. Override folder can see subfolders so it should be easy.
The author says that you should check the 2da files, and if a module you want to play has them as well then they will override, and you should merge them. However, if you are only planning on playing the OC you should worry about that.
And last: I haven't install any PRGs so if anyone sees something I said that's not correct can say it. But the above method is what I normally do with hak packs. Extract and put in my campaign folder for easy access.

Of course andysks meant you should NOT worry about that.
On the other hand, if your intention is to play other modules, you'll still have to check if they use a hak or not, as the hak takes precedence over the override, which takes precedence over the campaign, which in turn has priority over the module. Hence the 2da checking.

Would I have to do any .tlk editing after unpacking into the override folder?

IF there is a dialog.tlk in any of the haks - then you will need to back up the original (store a copy somewhere safe) and put the new one in the main NWN2 folder that contains all of the player folders e.g. override etc.

I think a tlk that is named dialogue.tlk, if placed in the MyDocuments folder of the game will override the original anyway.
BUT: Not in the tlk folder, just dropped in the My Documents/NWN2 folder... loose. ![]()
