_{That gameplay was godlike   Love the new flow to the movements, you can small bit still need work like the standard text FIGHT and FINISH HIM. Those 2 new characters were cool, that Kid/Giant duo are definitely may favorite of the three shown. Hope they more of that Aztec or Mayan looking guy who showed up near the end later}

I just saw the gameplay. It looks smoother, sleeker and just plain better while still having that MK9 feel. I love how they're incorporating Injustice's environment system. On the downside, more Subby abuse

 

And Alchemist is a playable character now? Sweet!

Nope. The Aztec kid+Ogre combo. Dota 2 reference. Come to think of it, how will Fatalities work on this "character"?

 

I'm glad that they're introducing new body types if these new characters are anything to go by.

Looks like the big guy takes all the damage, noticed the Kid always falls during knockdowns

 

Plus not even NetherRealm can get away with ripping apart a kid, A can already see some FOX News drone salivating at the idea

Although I'm really a Street Fighter player ( a poor one at that ) I'm getting hyped for MKX, this gen needs some fighters ASAP.

I want to see one trailer, one teaser, one tiny piece of merchandise depicting Subby holding Scorpion's spine for once.

Wish that would happen but i doubt it will. Still sub zero is better than scorpion IMO.

I said most likely  we all know MK likes to pull a DBZ every other game

 

But I do think a good number of the characters who died in MK9 story isn't coming back, until the game after atleast lol

I think that a large part of the story will be devoted to Fire and Ice (when they team up) freeing the slaves of Quan Chi. They'll come back but not as playable characters. It's understandable. MK9 had 24 characters not including DLC. With the addition of the new characters and Character variation, that would be a nightmare to design. 

 

There is DLC, on the other hand.

It's too early for me to judge on who they're keeping and introducing so I'll leave it at that.

MK9 painted Raiden as sane. The Deus Ex Machina at the end was stupid and cryptic but it proved Raiden was right. But the Dark Raiden route was already done.

 

Maybe they can turn one of the cast into a new Konquerer, now that Shao Kahn is dropping soap in Elder God prison.

Personally I like it.

I've always preferred Ermac looking like some kinda badass Mystic sorcerer than a Ninja tbh. Makes him more unique.

Sides, if Boon wants to fill out his ninja quota (Personally I've always seen Scorpion more as a Samurai) there's always Tremor, Hydro, and Chameleon to add.

Raiden was once too evil, so I stopped being a fan. But in MK9 he seems very cool.
