I'm on the PS3 system and I'm one freaking Marauder away from finishing Insanity.  I have no idea how to kill that thing. The husks are no problem. But, that Marauder..........ARGH! I've moved to the left, to the right. Went head-on. Nothing seemed to work.....Maybe I'm just a crappy shot.....

 

How do you actually "save" Anderson? In all my playthroughs, he dies. Is he suppose to?

 

I've got the Prima Guide and I've been trying to figure out the best specs for Kaidan and James Vega.  On Kaidan, I spec'd his Barrier to damage reduction and the 25% power increase. I max everything but, Cryo Blast. With James, I'm really confused. I'm trying to figure out how to really make him "tank." It's his Fortification and Arms Master I have the problem with  I'm trying to figure out to combine the two. Damage Reduction and Weapon Damage. I max everything out except for Frag Grenades.  And, is he better off with the (Crusader) shotgun or the Assault Rifle?

 

I've played both Ashley and Kaidan.  I've always felt that Kaidan has more to offer.  As for James, I liked the dolt the moment he walked into the room.

 

I finally managed to watch a video or two on how to finish, Project Overlord.  Since I've already finished the game, with all crew members alive, would it be a good idea to do Project Overlord now? I just want whats-his-face to show up at Grissom Academy.

 

Since I had to do the Dark Horse Comic, I saved the Rachni Queen.  I'm still trying to figure out if I should save her or not. In my play throughs, I've always killed her. What are the benefits to saving her, if any?  Or, does it just boil down to a moral issue.

 

I've always let Donnely back on the Normandy. Good or bad idea? 

 

I think that's it........Oh, I play a Paragon Male Shepard.

I got him killed on my first try on Insanity! Better luck with M. Shields! He sent me this, because I stopped him. :'(

On Insanity, try to headshot the Marauder at least once.If you can't, keep firing and hitting his body... if you hit him I think he staggers and won't shoot.

I just did this a few days ago, and it is very frustrating. I ended up zenning it - calmed the **** down and shot him.

I think that it's a great thing that today, 2 years later we have a serious, non-ironic post about Marauder Shields. It made my day.

When he shows, stop moving and shoot at his head or at least make every shot hit the target. I believe it took 4 shots to kill him.

The important thing is to not miss any shot you take. You don't have enough time to make up for it.

As for the rest.... you can't save Anderson, but some ways of going are better than others. Bring Ken back if you can. Ash isn't as good as Kaidan, especially since Bio broke her Marksman ability in the last patch. And the rachni is primarily a moral thing, although there are some WA points in play too.

"Saving" Anderson just means he dies from your bullet (all be it fired by TIM via you) instead of being shot in the back of the head by TIM.

1- Aim for the head... more damage, and less time to kill him.

 

2-Supposed to die, yes. Can't save him

 

3- Try Arm Masters... Fortification slows down power use(Well, if you care for this sort of thing, 'cause there are some players that prefer James 'cause of his Carnage Priming Power for Detonations)

 

4- Yes, this. Also, dunno if you noticed it, but Ash has a Marksman bug. If you Upgraded or got even 1 point in her Marksman, she will keep activating over and over again. So, you can't use any other of her powers.

 

5- Uh... If you want it, sure. It also adds, War Assets (oooooooooohhhhhhh)

 

6- Saving her, gives you War Assets(oooooooohhhhhhhhh)

and when you free her in Krogan Scouts mission she won't turn on you later in the game, like the Fake Queen, and thus, should not alter your War Asset(ooooooooohhhhh)

It also gets you a bonus conversation on Illium in ME2.

 

7-Great Idea. I Love him . Especially if you have Gabby alive
