Personally there are times when want to enjoy tavern life beyond asking the bar keep for roomers. Dice Poker can fit in well to a fantasy setting and it would be cool if your party would cheer you on or even help you cheat based on their personality.
Making a new game out of Wicked Grace, the game that Isabella asks you to play in DAO.
Dueling the best of your soldiers to teach them new moves would be cool and make it feel like you are truly interacting with your troops.
I think minigames might be fun, especially in such a social game like Bioware--it would be a good way to make us feel closer to our troops and companions in a more casual setting. A version of 'two truths and a lie' might be fun for getting across weird little bits of our companions back stories, especially with Varric.
Involves warhammers, tunnels, Ghasts and smashing.
Also, Bronto Rodeo.
Mostly just because I want to see dwarves in clown costumes trying to distract an enraged Bronto and then sent sprawling on the ground in humiliating landing poses.
Fable 2 Pub Games should satisfy the needles diversion for trivial mini games on xbox 360 and I doubt the amassing legion of demons will wait while you play mini game in taverns, then again the greatest insult to an enemy is to be ignored.
I have a lot of weird wishes for the possible Orlesian Ball mission lots of people seem to hope we are getting. I kinda want a QTE (optional) dancing minigame, where you haveta push the right button at the right time during the dance, otherwise repeatedly you embarrass yourself in front of the Orlesian court with your inability to play 'The Game'. I hate QTE's and dancing IRL but...I still really really want to see this happen.

I don't know about that. Imagine capturing a talking darkspawn and teaching him cards!
Some card-games would be fun, something between Pazaak and Final Fantasy VIII's card game:
Basically, players have 5 cards, each has their own numbers on top, left, right and bottom. In it's simplest form, if a card with RIGHT-side number 8 is set next to card which LEFT-side number is 6, the number 8 card will win and you take control of the card. When all cards are planted, the one who has conquered more cards wins. Ugh, hopefully this is understandable... In that video, there are set of special rules which aren't that interesting to me. Like random cards picked, normally you can pick your own cards.
Dice poker would work too. Perhaps some bar brawling, fist-to-fist? I'm pretty sure that the barkeep wouldn't be happy if the Inquisitor would start throwing fireballs when some drunkard wants to fight...
I also like the suggestion of a dance ball quick-time events. While most of the times they might be stressful, as an optional mini game it could work. It's nice way to "relax" in game if you don't feel like fighting or having a long chat to have some mini games.
Seeing what the big fuss is about Wicked Grace would be fine but if they did add minigames thenLiar's Dice is a must loved that game in Red Dead Redemption
