I'm not a fan of mini games at all so none would be my answer, i wouldn't complain though if they was put in for others to enjoy, in kotor i did partake a couple of rounds of pazzak i think it was, but as i said never a big fan of such things

I love the idea of dualing your companions. That would be awesome.

I love mini games. The ones in red dead were awesome. The amount of times I winced at stabbing myself in the hand with that damn knife. The ones in assassins creed werent bad but you kind of have to be a checkers player to know whats going on.
Personally I think a revised version of poker would be ideal. Just something I can do to take my mind off my next mission.

My opinion: Skip the mini-games and instead put the effort into epic sub-quests.
Geez, i don't get what's this all about Mini-games these days? If i wanted to play poker or chess, i would get myself a simulator or look for a decent browser-game.
i don't even know how to play poker or chess and if i wanted to learn it, i wouldn't buy a game like Watchdogs.
And the least thing i want from a RPG like DAI, is to be bombarded with dull mini-quests, which i have to play if i want to unlock this or get that specific item.
It's just a waste of effort in the wrong place.

I don't think any DA game has had minigames, so don't get your hopes up.
Funny DA games didn't have mounts in before either ......
look! There they are.

Actual lockpicking would be nice. You know, instead of just clicking once, and having it open.
Maker, no
edit: If there are mini-games, please keep them very optional

Lockpicking minigames are always annoying, I do want that wicked grace minigame though.

Oghren's game of wrestling with the nug drunk and loosing granted it was being cooked or Oghren's other idea Mubari chariot racing..
Wicked Grace is perfect for a Rogue looking to get alittle bit more gold by fleecing the local tavern's coarse there are the sneaky tavern patron's who aren't who they look like and could possibly catch you at your own game.
I would like pick pocketing though with more consequence to actually being caught.

But I'm good at Lockpicking, darn it.Maker, no

Really, any kind of puzzles where you have to actually think would be be welcome for me.

I'd like the Towers of Hanoi minigame that we couldn't play in ME3's Citadel DLC.
Apart from that, it would be nice if we could play dice or cards with different npcs around the game. I think it's a great way to allow the player to take a rest from the normal flow of the game: combat, conversation, combat, combat, conversation, etc.
Jousting and a s*** load of puzzles... god i love puzzles..
Jousting is a great idea. Puzzles are better, I think, when they are integrated as part of a dungeon's design, instead of being a separate minigame.

If we do get mini games please make them optional I always either really enjoy a mini game or really hate it so please no mandatory minigames. That said I wouldn't mind seeing some actual drinking games for the pubs to unwind with companions or to get some extra info from some of the locals and having little duels with companions wouldn't hurt either, but I dread with a game like this if we do get mini games that they'll be more like 'Defend the fort from the waves of attacks' where you have to fire a catapult at enemies and if any get past you its an instant loss I hate minigames like those. Some puzzles would be fun as well I'm not good at them but I enjoy them up until I get fed up to the point of putting my fist through glass but that hasn't happened in like months.

Dueling. Basic, you can spar with your companions. Win/loss will affect the relationship between Inquisitor and his/companions. Like respect, rivalry and such..
Kill counts. Like Gimli and Legolas. Inquisitor and the companions could engage in kill counts challenge throughout the game to see who's the best.. Maybe whoever has the highest score can gloat.. Maybe some dialogues during the fight as well.. " Hey I got 10!". Downing a boss grants a higher bragging right.. Lol ![]()

I'd love a drinking game!
I'd love a drinking game, too! Especially if the followers/advisors participated and said silly things if they had too much to drink.

A new minigame called headbutting the Qunari. You must bring your own ladder!
Headbutting used to be a game in reality btw.

I was thinking of a war strategy mini-game. Sort of like chess but in the DA world. The twist being is that it works like the tactical view when in actual combat so it can also help practice your skills.
