I've never done the deed myself but I wonder how different it would be if we let Redcliffe get annihilated in DAO.

I'm planning on having a playthrough or keep preset where I do just that.

It's hilarious! I on my very first DA:O playthrough(Human warrior), I talked to Thomas and Teagan, then decided to leave and come back later(not knowing what would happen of course)...I saw the cut scene and come back to have Teagan pissed at me

It's always nice revisiting old locations under the greatness of a new engine.

 

Though, Redcliffe seems so green and lush for what it used to be in DA:O. But that's totally fine by me.

Looks epic! But we will see if it looks as good when I get there in game!

Well I'm a little disappointed at the lack of sheer, red cliffs but aside from that at looks great. And there's no reason why the sheer, red cliffs wont be in the final game.

Ohmigod! Sheer red cliffs! Right after people were complaining about the lack of them! It's almost as if a pair of screenshots don't depict the entirety of a location!

Looks a million times better than it did in Origins, man was that place dull.

 

Not that I didn't like it, as it sort of had a western ghost town feel to it, which made the undead battle seem more epic.

 

Looks a lot prettier now though. Aged well.

I did it once with my evil character, but I wouldn't use that setting for my first playthrough of DA: I.  There's quite a bit of unique dialogue around abandoning Redcliffe in DA: O, though, if you're curious.

Uh... you did read the bit in my post where I said that there was no reason why the sheer, red Clifs wouldn't be in the final game even if they weren't shown at first , didn't you.

She could go to Denerim to open her own brewery or on the Wardens's suggestion, become Teagan's maid or even become the new owner of the Tavern

Ten years have ppast after the darkspawned sacked the town and where beaten back from the castle, will be quite interesting to goback there espically if you didn't save everyone when coner was an mad kid mage or made a deal with the demon controlling him.
