Right now ME3 is on sale for 70% off (after being reduced to 1/3 its original cost), but the DLC is still full price (with no reductions since being released).  I realise not every company is going to be as generous with their sales as Valve is, but that seems a little ridiculous even so.  It makes me wonder if this is a conscious decision to try to increase profits, or if the DLC has simply been forgotten altogether (especially since you can't buy them from the same screen).

To be honest, even on Steam discounted game =/= always discounted DLCs.

I know that DLCs usually don't go on sale (or the discount is much less) when they have been released recently, but it's been more than a year since Citadel was released, and nearly 2 years since Leviathan was.  My annoyance is that other retailers offer sales on DLC (PSN is doing so right now), but Origin doesn't--seemingly ever.  Right now, ME3 costs $6, Leviathan costs $10, and Omega and Citadel cost $15.  A side mission costing two and a half times as much as the main game seems just the tiniest bit out of proportion to me.

They do seem to be leaving sales on the table. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would buy Citadel at $6 who won't buy it at $15.
