Never use geth scanner.
Wallhacks were only cool when Geth had them and no one else.

Only if it's Geth or a grenade class.
Way too much 'around the corner' nonsense to deal with - phantom that can stagger and sync you by cloaking and hiding, marauder's elbow with 10m radius - Ain't nobody got time for that.
Scanner makes your solo go faster too, so why the hell not.

Yes, on grenades classes and kits with Hunter Mode. Solos with wallhax capabilities are more pleasant.

my first 2 platinum solo's were before it was released. Since then, I have used it on my platinum solos. Gold, not necessary, but I do like it when going up against cerberus for early phantom/goon rush detection.

Yeppers. Didn't use it for the majority of my solos because I needed a different Gear Bonus. I got nothing but love for Geth Scanner though and greatly prefer using it when attempting Platinum.

There is only Geth Scanner, Grenade Capacity and sometimes.. Armored Compartments. All other gear is inferior. 12-15% additive bonuses can be achieved elsewhere, and in greater values.
